LOST IDENTITY: IS PAKISTAN WINNING ITS WAR ON TERROR?

Pakistan is winning its war on terror. Alhamdollilah(Thanks to Allah) contrary to propaganda of west and enemy states , our forces are defeating the enemy which so far US and NATO combined have miserably failed to defeat. An Interesting telephone call between TTP swat and TTP South Waziristan was intercepted by Intelligence and transcript was published in Daily Jung News Paper. Bellow is my own Translation. Conversation is between Hajji Muslim khan spokes man of TTP swat and unknown leader Baitullah Mahsud thugs.

2nd I went to the meeting and talked with him your issue. He told me he had the information. He told me you people(Swati Taliban?) come down on 15 and we will discuss. He told this 20 days ago.

The above conversation clearly manifest
1. TTP Swat is suffering heavy casualties( I am sorry Bill Reggio and his bunch of Bias Pakistan Phobic Friends) and are begging help from its Allies from SWA
2. Its becoming very Hard for TTP to execute its terror because of Governments successful crack down. Recent arrests in Mianwali, Fasilabad and operations in Bajor, Swat, Dir, Bunair, Aurakzai , Mohmand and Launching of new operation in Mahsud area of SWA agency has effectively damaged the terror network of Takfiri TTP . It has now become very hard for them to hit Targets of their own choosing that’s why now they are trying to hit even civilians.
3. The back bone of Taliban in Bajor and Mohmand has been broken that’s why they are failing or un willing to help Swati Taliban.
4. Contrary to Bill Reggio of long war journal and His alike’s propaganda, Position of Taliban in Bajor and Mohmand and areas of Swat Valley has become miserable and they have no freedom of action and are licking their fatal wounds inflicted by our security forces.
5. Taliban are now talking about killing innocent civilians which mean the so called cause of their resistance and war is not Islam but are pursuing strategic interests of foreign powers including USA (see Pepe Escobars article published in Asia Times and my posts). Where as the Real Taliban of Afghanistan and their command has strictly forbidden to Attack Muslims and ordered to concentrate against occupation forces in Afghanistan)
6. TTP is on defeat and with help of foreign media trying to promote Pashtun Nationalism. And presenting their fight as fight for Pashtuns( remember due to occupation and brutality of imperials occupation forces Taliban movement in Afghanistan has changed into Pashtun National Struggle some countries are financing TTP Takfiri Thugs only to create same in Pakistan but mullah Omar has repeatedly ordered Taliban not to Target Muslim Pakistan )

According to News Report yesterdays attack was Targeted on ISI( which many hate filled Americans and Enemies like to blame for Taliban Support) The main Target was Shaheed Lt Col Mirza Amir , he was in charge of Lahore Division and did very impressive job in breaking network of TTP in Punjab. It was due to firing from guards due to which terrorists failed to hit their real target and detonated themselves. Two other ISI officers were seriously injured including one Lieutenant Colonel and one Major. It was a Third major Attack on ISI officials in Past two years. This Attack also gives evidence that Propaganda by west and India against ISI is an effort to defame the shield which protects the Pakistani Nation. Its only due to efforts of ISI and other agencies that we are winning our battle against extremists when WORLD ONLY SUPER POWER ALONG WITH HIGH FI GADGETS IS FAILING MISERABLY.

The emerging scenario confirms that Pakistan is winning. Terrorists are frusturaded and soon our boys will completely over come the Takfiri Thugs who are now hideing and failing to help each other

What the world has seen is the 1st determined effort on part of PA , what we saw yesterday was the 1st retaliation on part of those whom the PA is acting upon.

W'sOT are not won or lost so soon, these drag on endlessly. The talibs will now attempt to drag it & hit soft targets across the nation while PA will try to close it ASAP.

What may be won is a battle / skirmish in the WOT, not the war .. as yet.

Howso ever many terrorists we kill on the ground, this is a war of hearts and mind. If we do not look after the IDPs well, we will end up loosing out in the end. This is the problem with our leadership. they are so scared that they do not even want to come out of their houses much less go to these camps and see the plight of the people there. unles we have bigwigs going there and talking to ,consoling and providing for them, we will still be fighting the same war 10 yrs down the line .
Secondly we should encourage other moderates to talk to us and alleviate their problems, and counter their ideology with words of Wisdom from the Quran rather than simple rhetoric. We should convince them to lay down their arms and talk to us and indulge in dialogues. We will alwys find people to kill, it is minimizing the numbers necessary to achieve the aim, that is important.
Thirdly, justice should be done. I know especially in baluchistan, we are holding on to money raised by resources of the province. While not handing it over to the corrupt |Sardars, we should use that money to help the common man and alleviate his provblems.
Fourthly, break the shackles of theold system and provide them with jobs by setting up industries andcottage industry. I am sure there are local talents that can be garneredand nurtured to good affect. It will give local population incentive to work towards nation building.We need to look at industry which suits the local produce and localrequirement. If they produce marble, let there be marble industry, if they have fruits that get destroyed, let there be fruit conserving industry. This will help the local industry and support the masses.
Fifth, ally the continuation of their work to acquisition of education. We dont want college degrees from each and every individual, but we want the people to be able to read and write , and understand simple text in Urdu and local languages. Educate them in Quran and hadees. this is the waty to influence them and teach them not to listen to takfeeris andFaasideen. influence them into coming into local clinics set up for them ,their ladies and children. The thing is it is easy for everyone to understand what is in their benefit. It is upto the state to support the setting up of the necessary infra structure. We are not talking big money, but it needs dedication and organization, andour corrupt leadership is not capable of it unfortunately. This is why I am really gloomy about the outcome of this war .

Brother i am no sooth sayer. Our deeds merit no better than what we are receiving at the moment. Unless we correct our ways we will keep on reaping what we have sown. Whaether we do that or not , I dont know. Whether we emrge from this crisis or disintegrate , I dont know. What I do know is there is a desperate need for people to rethink this whole situation and plan ahead for what is going to happen now and 1 yr from now. If our Government sits on its Butt and does nothing, we will loose out. There is no simple military answer to this crisis. The russians learnt it the hard way and the American will as well. We need a coherent plan forwhat to do and atleast save the day on our side of the border. No one is going to come from outside to help us. We need to do this with our own 2 hands and hard grind. The Army is currently fighting this war well from a moral high ground. When the chips come down, and if the govenrment has not utilized the opportunity to counter the very reason for the presence of the taliban, they will come back again and again and again. Each time you will conduct operations with some success and local and intra departmental resentment will rise up and the army will get demoralized again. This is what people from Musharraf down to now have not understood or been able to implement. People will have to come out of their plush offices and work on the shop floor, pull their sleeves up and shovel dirt if they have to. This nation needs a lot of hard work and commitment before it will rise out of the ashes of this war. Our leadership is totally incapable of it. Which is why i feel so gloomy.

Sir, dont be gloomy. You are right on we are reaping because we are not countering the reasons for these 'TALIBANS'. The reason is the absence of correct social & legal justice. And there are just a few so called elite mass who are the main reason. IRAN got rid of them, look where they stand.

Brother i have been waiting for the just revolution since the seventies. This nation is not ready to make sacrifices just like then. Everytime there is a problem, we ahve looked towards the East or West, for a sviour to come. i am firmly of the beleif that thew saviour will not come till such time that we realize that the onus lies on us to stand up and sort our own problems out.This in my view is not in our national build up and this is why we have failed as a nation and as a state. We talk about Punjabis, Pukhtoons, Baluchis, Sindhis and Mohajirs but never about pakistan, or Islam. We have no national or religious identity, pay lip service to islam and Allah but do not want to make the sacrifices in his way to attain his Nusrat.
Please do not equate this to the way ofthe taliban. Iam talking about ruling with justice and peace.I am talking about having a direction to move in as a nation. I am talking about not being two faced, and having a bit of self respect.
Truely speaking I dont see pakistan turning around during my life time.

its too early to talk about victory. but TTP is definately fealin the heat. swat chapter has been hit quite hard by our security forces. with all the supply routes being cut off and ammunition stocks destroyed, they wont last for much long. and like u said this is from 20 days back. in last twentry days things have further worsened for them. they have almost lost mingora. will be great to read any recent intercept
