Tale of Tails

.
The function of the tail is to keep the balance. But man has evolved and developed a prefect balance system.

Moreover, there is no need for human to jump like monkeys in order to find food.

Then tail became a useless organ,it only wasted energy. So it was eliminated.

Don't look down upon the energy that was wasted by keeping a tail.

In ancient times, human mortality rate was very high.So that gene of lactose intolerance eliminated very fast in 130~ generations.

Naturally,tail of human disappear.

However, human evolution is still not very complete(due to low mortality rate in modern times),some useless cells disappear while others not, such as man's papilla.

Tail would have other functions but our Earth didn't develope that system.

If you've seen Avatar you would have better idea.

Tail could have fiber optic like threads to connect with the world and other realms via birds, trees and fellow beings.

It depends on the ecosystem in which you have been created and developed. Our ecosystem doesn't have such utility.

Inst it,, surely more then being related to the apes :P
I will take this over chachu ape any day!!

Well it is not about rejecting or accepting it. There is something told is Islam about Hazrat Adam and we do believe in it. Just like every other religion believe in certain things.

The question to ask is whether a personal religious belief in Hazrat Adam precludes accepting the science of evolution?

For me it does.
How many times the science itself have "evolved" to new theories? what makes you think it will now stick with this one? :)

For you it might. For others, it may not. Science always evolves with greater understanding, as does religion. Not much that is human is static, in fact.

Well that is true, we have people with all those different faiths and beliefs. What gives me the right to talk about them? That is why i mentioned that "for me" it does!! :)

Of course. You are entitled to your opinion and personal religious beliefs. As much as anyone else, no more, and no less.

Hence the post

What is so difficult to understand here?

My understanding is crystal clear. I even posted a detailed article above about the incidence of human tails.

Well i was not referring to your understanding of tails sir.

It is this that i am referring to:
Of course. You are entitled to your opinion and personal religious beliefs. As much as anyone else, no more, and no less.
and quiding you to my views on that as:

For me it does.
Why are we confusing everything here and just dragging the argument. :)

Why confuse Hollywood fantasies with reality? :D

Science doesn't say that they are correct and a particular statement is absolute truth. Science is the discourse of asking questions and making inferences based on evidence and empirical data.

Some years down the line if new evidence emerges contradicting old theory, it's rejected.
