We nearly did (and then let it go) 49 years ago when were a bankrupt LDC country.
It was always the threat of your massa what forced India to retreat in 1965 even after capturing Pak, give western territories back in 71 or not to cross LoC in Kargil.

Ever asked why Abhi was released within 2 days with no demands at all?
This 7 times bigger country doesn't spin its foreign policy around Pakistan unlike negated vice versa. India doesn't even try to weaponize its size. It only uses exiting cap and even that ends up doing wonders.
Your leaders and intellectuals and leaders are more aptly aware about power differential and keep running for umbrella eventually, more than enough to defy delusions.
You could be anything but you aren't a defence defense enthusiast on a defense forum if you don't agree with me. Because everyone of them knows the power differential between India & Pak.
Seriously, who is desperately running away and hiding behind third parties? India or Pakistan?

Most of what I posted is from Pakistani authors and intellectuals. The list includes extremely anti-India articles as well. But none of them is able to deviate from consensus that India can eclipse existence of Pakistan while vice versa isn't true.
Your news channels discuss Pakistan more then India. And there is no diplomatic threats which keep India on hold, when you have the power you do it. Just like Russia did with Crimea, or India did in 71.
