Maybe you need some comprehension lessons.
I never said your flags were wrong but mine are not "Ambiguous" meaning there are no reading it wrongly or that it could have many ways to interpret.
Lets wait for Taiwan to declare officially to be "INDEPENDENT".
No need for a Japanese Wanabee to declare it for them.
I am certain Taiwanese relations with Singaporeans are much closer than with a WANABEE JAPANESE considering there are many friends, family and kin on both sides and we speak Mandarin and Minnan(Hokkien in Singapore).
Lest you are ignorant about it, we do much of our army training in Taiwan and 9 dash line was first established by the KMT who fled to Taiwan.
.
Taiwan probably would declare independence if the PRC would stop making threats against Taiwan independence.
Yes, and both Singaporeans and Taiwanese air force have trained in the US itself as well. If I recall correctly, Singapore has trained in Australia too.
What's with your big talk tone? Stop it maybe???
9 dash created by KMT but then copied and taken further by CCP China. If Taiwan declared independence then maybe they would no longer have any use for old KMT legacy items such as the 9 dash line.
Or the other approach is that the PRC becomes democratic and allows mult-party rule. So then the KMT party could be active in the mainland and that might make Taiwan open to developing China mainland legacy instead of burying it in exchange for Taiwanese identity.
Sure Taiwanese speak mandarin. That was forced on them by Chiang Kai-shek. He made Hokkien illegal. But Hokkien was able to make a comback due to democratization process and increase Taiwanese identity.
Assuming that if you know all that, then surely you know all the so-called "Japan flattery" that occurs as well and surveys about favorite countries or the restoration of old buildings built during the Japanese era.
So lets ask the hypothetical again since the PRC is so god-damn psycho about getting Taiwan... if a Taiwan survey was to ask "if Taiwan must unify with a country, which would you prefer, China or Japan?", all things consider, I'd say Japan would get picked. One could speculate the US for that question but US and Taiwan culture is too different. Maybe put Singaore in that hypothetical question, afterall, Singpore is very well liked by Taiwan as well. But if Pro-CCP posters laugh at Japan's military capacity.. what good can Singapore do for the defense of Taiwan against the PRC? Well if to take very loose path on that, then a united Singapore-Taiwan nation could then seek military relation with the US, Japan, etc. Or just join PRC? But that ignores that whole basis as to how Taiwan doesn't want to join the PRC.
