no its all from ssm page its not real for atak heli but shows intention but no matter mildar is on top or wing its add great capability to fly low to suppress air defence units if they are in the combat radius of the atak heli

Infact it matter greatly, If it's on the top of the rotor, it would have 360 degrees sight.

If it's placed under the pylons, heli's fuselage will obstruct the sight of mildar. more over 1 pylon would be occupied with mildar, meaning less payload.

Also the pic you shared, looks like a fan made photoshop.

no it was from ssm page but ı could not get again that page, you under estimate low altitude flying safely,a lot of military powers die for it,and its not abondon the missile power of it just reduce it,and remaining is enough for most of the purposes

Those pilots know very well they're risking their lives but that's the only safe way they can provide CAS to our troops. When you're fighting on a mountain with trees everywhere, CAS has to get close to get a visual ID before they start shooting, otherwise they might hit friendlies. This is the type of situation where pilots can't just shoot a Cirit at known enemy lines from 5km away, not to mention the 20mm is more effective at close quarters CAS anyway. The pilots are doing what they can to avoid being hit, btw - using contour flight (very hard to get old MANPADS to lock on to an aircraft when the ground or hills are in the background of the seeker), and moving perpendicular to enemy fire. It's still risky but that's war.
