I'm wondering what some of you guys think about it. This event can certainly change the Chess pieces around the board. In my opinion it does not make sense, first he's winning the war, beating back both ISIS and the Rebels. Why risk a PR disaster for an insignificant township? Also could this be even a more nefarious FF ops where Russia is playing all sides or am I just paranoid? Everyone in the know, knows the last chem attack were the results of Prince Turki's attempt to drag the U.S. into the Syrian war. So who could be behind the latest attempt? Lastly, could Assad or his generals be this stupid?

There's another thread about this subject here.

it sure can, and did in fact change the chess pieces in the saudi royal/erdogan's favour.

Trump will attack again if there is another chemical attack that "kills babies"

This was not the first chemical attack, this time the news clicked in news media.
Sure.. Assad was not expecting any such thing to happen.
If you explore even this website, there are news and pictures of previous chemical attacks.
Chemical weapons were dropped by air and Assad have history of aerial bombing, and his hate is evident from the incidences of blocking water and food of children.

I hear ya, but Assad being tagged as a bad guy is not good enough in this case...even bad guys have brains. Btw, there are very few good guys in the M.E....and I mean few. How is it possible he was not expecting the blowback? Iran is the main reason he's alive, Iran would be asking for heads to roll if he or his generals used chems for such a stupid reason....sorry but this does not pass muster.

Here is the dilemma I'm struggling with.

It seems like, whenever US wants to poke its nose into some area of the world, all of a sudden a disaster happens that give them the justification:

  • US-Spanish war, it started over an alleged sinking of a US battleship near Cuba by a Spanish sea mine. It was the perfect moment for US to start that war and eat all Spanish colonies in Americas and Asia. 10 years ago, I red an article in National Graphic, showing evidence from that battleship wreckage that explosion actually was internal.
  • WWII: Franklin really wanted to get involved but couldn't buy in from congress. All of a sudden and from nowhere, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Again perfect timing for US to enter as the European powers had exhausted each others' might and US could get in and pick up the pieces. If you read about the situation back then, US together with some European countries had put such heavy sanctions on Japan, that it was even struggling to get the fuel for its fleet. In other word, they made Japan to make a move out of desperation.
  • Iraq: There are evidence that Saddam got green light from US to invade Kuwait. That gave US perfect excuse to establish bases in Persian Gulf which was of course to contain Iran.
  • 9/11: Iran was growing despite all the counter measures and US wanted bases around Iran. That gave US the perfect excuse.
  • Now Syria: Republican had been dying to get US to interfere in Syria but were not successful back in Obama era. Now all of a sudden they have their excuse to do so.
So, ................ You let me know what you think? Is it a false flag? If it is not then some kind of ultra-natural force is backing US.

U.S. Intelligence Source: Syria Chemical Weapons Attack Launched From Saudi Base
Posted on April 12, 2017 by Paul Joseph Watson

Award-winning Iran-Contra journalist Robert Parry says the chemical weapons attack in Syria was launched from a joint Saudi-Israeli special operations base in Jordan, according to his intelligence sources.

U.S. intelligence analysts determined that a drone was responsible for the attack and “eventually came to believe that the flight was launched in Jordan from a Saudi-Israeli special operations base for supporting Syrian rebels,” according to the source.

“The suspected reason for the poison gas was to create an incident that would reverse the Trump administration’s announcement in late March that it was no longer seeking the removal of President Bashar al-Assad,” writes Parry.

As we highlighted back in 2013 after another chemical weapons attack in Ghouta that was blamed on Assad, rebels freely admitted to Associated Press correspondent Dale Gavlak that they had been given the weapons by Saudi Arabia but had “handled the weapons improperly and set off the explosions.”

Parry’s background lends the information credibility. He covered the Iran-Contra scandal for the Associated Press and Newsweek and was later given a George Polk award for his work on intelligence matters.

The contention that the incident was a “false flag” to create a justification for air strikes has also been voiced by former Congressman Ron Paul as well as numerous other prominent voices, including Vladimir Putin himself, who went on to warn that rebels could now stage a similar incident in Damascus to goad the U.S. into toppling Assad.

Whoever was responsible for the attack does not take away from the horror of the event and the fact that innocent people and children died.

Parry dismissed the four page report released by President Trump’s National Security Council that blames the Syrian government for the chemical attack as being heavy on assertions but lacking actual evidence.

The white paper states, “we cannot publicly release all available intelligence on this attack due to the need to protect sources and methods,” although as Parry points out, “In similarly tense situations in the past, U.S. Presidents have released sensitive intelligence to buttress U.S. government assertions, including John F. Kennedy’s disclosure of U-2 spy flights in the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and Ronald Reagan revealing electronic intercepts after the Soviet shoot-down of Korean Airlines Flight 007 in 1983.”

There you go.

The only question is what was the S-400 system doing? Are we to believe that a drone can fly all the way from Jordan to middle of Syria without detection? In that case I'm really concerned how well the S-300 will protect Iran in case of an air attack.

One more reason for Iran to have its own radar and AA system in place in Syria.

You left out the undisputed false flag, the Gulf of Tonkin incident that "justified" the Vietnam War by the Yanks. Why, with all these bullshit reasons can the US ruling elites get away, over and over again, these "justifications" for waging war. It's because the Dems, Repubs and most importantly, the corporate mainstream media are all owned by big money interest, and war is very profitable for them. Before Trump launched the tomahawk cruise missiles, he was considered a maniac by the Democrats and the corporate media, but once he attacked Syria, they all gathered around Trump and now claim he's a leader to rally around. The entire mainstream media started gloating about trump and the "beauty of their weapons", there was no dissenting voice. This is similar to the beginning of the Gulf War. U.S.A, United States of Amnesia...

I think this answers the questions beautifully:

Assad isnt stupid enough to bring international wrath after getting enough support to fight back.

God bless Assad!

.
That is what makes the whole incident questionable, so if someone can fake the same shells that Assad has, then they've must have faked communications also, knowing that the CIA or some other "Ear In The Sky" (there are literally a dozen of them listening on Syrian phone calls and radio comms these days) intercepting it.This way the whole spoof would be complete.

PS: I know this sounds like we're making excuses for Assad gassing people, but as I said earlier this makes much more sense as a False Flag than a mistake or miscalculation by Assad and company. Think about it...

Gents, Press TV just reported that the Russian AF Sukhoi Su-35's and Russian navy S-30SM's shot down all the 36 Tomahawks fired by the first USN destroyer. The U.S. waited till all Russian Sukhoi's had landed or were out of fuel/ missiles before launching the next wave of 29, much nearer the Lebanese coast with shorter flying times. The Russian Krushna-4 ECM system jammed 26 of those.......only three made it to the Syrian Shai'rat AB......lol.

Putin needs to seriously look at beefing up the Russian forces deployed in Syria. Sounds like they used up a large number of their missiles shooting down these tomahawks. If Trump the turnip continues to act uppity, he needs to be beaten to a pulp for the terrorist he is. Putin could have sunk those two USN destroyers in less than 5 minutes if he wanted to......but he's showing remarkable restraint so far in the face of all these jokers.

I rarely get involved in conspiratorial discussions like this thread but i couldn't hold myself cause i have zero tolerance for stupid sh!t.
When Press TV writes a story without any evidences i mostly manage to ignore them, but this story is a whole new level of stupidity. After the Us attacked Shayrat Air base the Russian MOD came up with a fictional story that only 23 of 59 missiles managed to hit their targets without showing any proof, then the satellite images came up and showed at least 48 conformed hits (assuming one missile per target), which means the Russian MOD lied or they didn't know how to count. Now these idiots in Press TV are coming up with a new story that only 3 missiles hit their target and the rest failed to do so in a super fictional manner, which is the stupidest fake story that they could ever come up with. People who believe this story are the stupidest people on this planet.
And also Putin is not going to sink any USN destroyers, he doesn't have the balls to do this. Firing a single shot at any USN destroyers that hits those ships means a full scale war with the Americans, something that nobody in this planet is willing to do.
