Syrian Airdefences shot down Turkish plane

If Syria supports the PKK then we have a MUCH better reason to take this sonofabitchs head. We need to take out this ret@rd and work together with the Syrian people to elect their democratic leader. Their time has come, this was the last drop.

Like the democracy has bought aloth to Egypt and other countries...............

Wake up and see the reality which is that the forces here are trying to play here are very very deceptive. Better support the ones who are right rather than acting emotionally........

I hope both pilots are OK ..........

Of course Syria will support the PKK when they are in war with Turkey. Even now Assad is trying to cool down the Kurds so they wouldn't join the Arabs in the uprising. Yes, but it's not that easy.

propaganda indeed.they shoot down our aircraft 1 km inside Syrian border! 1 km can you believe that şhit and they say "it is right to defend ourself"

Plz no more of this war mongering source..............
Syria military has said this not bbc speculation....which news channel will you believe, Xinhua.....they support assad so they will be biased too.....how are we going to know the truth coz every news agency that is against your belief is war mongering

Syria has been the biggest supporter of PKK for 20-30 years, there is your legitimate reason for a military attack. Furthermore they are getting massive weapons from Russia, which Russia does intentionally to screw the region and especially Turkey. PKK is being armed by their teeth by Assad as we speak with Russian equipment, look at the RT news, they fully support Syria because they supply Syria and PKK massively.

Why tuaf use reconnaissance f-4.. when they could use uav? or Airborne Integrated SIGINT System?

Guys, this is a serious situation. Turkey can't go to war with the Syrian regime alone. This regime has nothing to lose, so, he will take you down with him. He still has a strong ground to air systems and ground to sea systems. Not to mention his enormous missile power which he could use in flattering Turkish cities. He possess huge numbers of chemical and biological warheads. He will not hesitate to use them for a second if he feels his existence is threatened. The one who targetting his own civilian people will not regret targeting others civilians. That's why I am nervous about the situation as I live in Northern Jordan, and will be directly affected by in deterioration on the borders. Turkey is going suicidal if she acts alone upon this.

Suriye'den 'iki uça

If its real, then they crossed the line, a serious reaction should be taken, not a good timing, I was hoping that military would concentre on PKK this summer.

What was a F-4 doing in Syrian airspace ? its another question, technically they had the right intervene but its not means we should stay silent againts it.

If Turkish F4 was shot down in Syrian airspace then it is Turkey which was out of line. Line AKP is pursuing against Syria in pretext of people discontent of the regime in many ways orchestrated by Turkey itself. In principal Syria has to go through reform and Assad has to let people rule but Turkey or Saudis has no right to supply arms and orchestrate civil war. Turkey is creating too many enemies around it and setting up itself for attack from many direction in near future. This is a shame how Turkey is conducting itself and siding with western thugs regime change ploy.

LMAOOO Turkey got f*****. The plane crashed in Syrian territory yet they claiming there was no border violation, what a joke. This is what you get for harbouring and supplying weapons to terrorists.

can't fight your own wars buddy? need us to save your *** after provoking a war?

The plane was 1 km inside Syrian territory, and there were no warnings nor escorts from Syrian side. Alot of countries violates their neighbors territories but when they are warned they back up, it's unusual to shoot down a plane without a warning. That's an act of war.

Turkey should rain bombs on Assad's palace during this night as an answer to this.
