I think Russian know clearly how hard to live under dictatorship , but she can not lose her 3 billion USD weapon contract , so she has to protect her own interest in Syria.The F-35 is not even in service genius. B-2 bombers are more than enough to do the job.
Not that I support a military strike on Syria at the moment.
But given that Assad continues to slaughter his people, pissing off Turkey by making his own people refugees, a strike on the Assad regime can be an option.
Sure, human rights abuses are common in the Middle East, but that guy is irresponsibly handling the problem.
I hope sanity prevails.
Btw: let's see if B-2 is better than S-300 or not . I place my bet on S-300 bcz Russia have lots of experience in dealing with US fighter during VN war and Kosovo war.
