Russia has weapons contracts with Syria worth at least $3 billion , so of course she will not let NATO-US blow it away like in Lybia any more.

Let's see if S-300 can shoot down all NATO-US fighter or not.

It's not stupidity rather a strategic step to protect a Russian foothold in ME. Russia lost her African foothold when Libya fell.... I don't think they'll let Syria goes with the same fate...

The F-35 is not even in service genius. B-2 bombers are more than enough to do the job.

Not that I support a military strike on Syria at the moment.

But given that Assad continues to slaughter his people, pissing off Turkey by making his own people refugees, a strike on the Assad regime can be an option.

Sure, human rights abuses are common in the Middle East, but that guy is irresponsibly handling the problem.
