Glad you asked. He wants me to purchase a Rickshaw for him so that he can work after 3pm for additional income. He wants me to deduct 10K per month from his driver salary to adjust the loan/purchase!

In life, you have met many individuals, some good and some bad. Hope the person employed by you is good-natured.
My experience with the driver community was one of the worst. They are usually corrupt to the core.
If you have enough money and could afford it, buy him a rikshaw but without any expectation upon return of the loan in any form. Maybe he will be unable to return the principal amount or could be any other reason.
In the present scenario, even a petrol rikshaw will not help him and maybe the electric one is out of your comfortable reach.

Very very dire situation !! however there are soup kitchens " Dastarkhuwans" all over karachi roads since last few years if anyone noticed that was a clear sign that economic conditions are very bad

Agar yeh neechay wala solution ha to yeh kam government ka hi tha. Agar 90s main bhi theek sa yeh kam kartay to population 40 50 million kam honi thi. From 1998 to 2017 Pakistan has added 70 million people

Believe it or not, Pakistani govt. all of them, did try to raise awareness regarding family planning but it all fell on deaf ears. Sure, alot more could have been done but then again to what extent? You can't force 1 child policy in Pakistan which I don't support either. You can't change people's mentality if they don't wanna change.
