Surgical Strike 2002 ?In 2002, India's Fighter Jets Hit Pakistan In A Surgical Strike

The question is whom should we provide Proof???? Pakistani citizens??? That is not the prerogative of GOI ( I agree there were few politicians who tried to take political mileage, from both side of the spectrum in India)

Pakistani citizens? no sir, the general proof to the entire world that this happened. Pakistan took international observers to the place where India claimed to have striked, Why was India reluctant to do the same?

The message was intended to 2 receiptants, (one domestic and one adversary) both seems to have received it loud and clear....

Loud and clear as to what? According to India nothing has changed in Pakistan's perspective so what exactly did the message do from Indian POV if nothing has changed on the ground?

This is not the first time this has happened and this is not going to be the last time either...... We (read both nations) have been doing this for a very long time, and this is the first time it has given huge publicity.......
If sir you are referring to soldiers crossing over, yes this has happened in the past but its hardly something you refer to as surgical strike and beat drums about. No?

Another important point, GOI is ok with Pakistan calling the strike as a fake one.....
In today's world Pakistan cannot hide something that happened, something of this magnitude where one country attacks another by launching strikes. This is simply impossible.

I am not such a guy.
As for the proofs, no matter what proofs are provided the Pakistani fanboys will never believe anything.
If video is provided they well say it is doctored and made in Bollywood.
If photo evidence is provided then they will say it is Photoshoped.
If some other proof is provided then they well find some other excuse to prove it false.
So the bottom line is nothing can convince the fanboys.
The soldiers from boths sides know what happened and what has not happened and that's enough.
Btw the above is true for Indian fanboys too.
Actually there is no need to give proofs, Indian defence forces had some objectives which were achieved successfully in all respect. They can only send terrorists but not real soldiers because their commanders know the lessons of 1965, 71 and with best of the best conditions in 1999 and they lost miserably.
Actually Pak people should ask these questions to their military.

What to be proved??? Whom to be proved? And why it to be proved??? We are not here to satisfy the ego...... You being a senior and veteran, you know very well how people look at army in both the nations...... We have a totally different outlook towards military compared to yours......

Loud and clear as to what? According to India nothing has changed in Pakistan's perspective so what exactly did the message do from Indian POV if nothing has changed on the ground?

Conveying message and receiving it is one thing..... Results of it has to be watched.....

It depends on which side of border you belong to..... You can call it surgical strike if you like, and you can also call it cross border raid if you like to....... Govt's choice, how they want to convey the message to its adversaries...... PA wanted to convey a message thru heavy shelling (in response to the raid)
In today's world Pakistan cannot hide something that happened, something of this magnitude where one country attacks another by launching strikes. This is simply impossible

Please note that it was not the PA which was attacked, it was terrorists which was attacked, and its magnitude is not that big.... Only the Ego is making people think that its a big deal......
