What is the basis for your claim again? Because some Chinese fishermen sailed through the waters in ancient times? I wonder when China begins to claim waters around Hawaii islands?

Not all countries will need to or want to adopt this doctrine right away, but if enough countries do, then it will create pressure on remaining countries to conform.

I think that first of all, Asian must to resolve territorial disputes between nations, by the joint efforts to solve them through peaceful negotiations.

But China often seeks to delay the settlement of disputes through peaceful negotiations with the ASEAN countries, it was even looking to ASEAN countries to avoid referring to the dispute (for example: pressure to Cambodia rejected any mention of disputes in the joint statement of ASEAN...). So how can resolve the disputes? They want to delay when they are more strong then will use war to rob?
