So has the punjabi the ability to absorb words from other languages. Read the punjabi poetry of Baba Fareed (from 12th century), Sultan Bahu (16th century), Bullay Shah and Waris shah (17th century), it is full of persio-arabic vocabulary in the exact same form as we use it even today in our colloquial punjabi, we have not learned any persio-arabic vocabulary in last 100 years or so , it is part of punjabi language for at least 1000 years.

Interestingly Zarvan's article clearly states that foreign islamist invaders used force to convert locals and had no honor on battlefield. Did Hazrat Sahib really congratulate him or is this a modern Pakistanis narrative? because all of India(including non Muslims) revere Hazrat Sahib and go to his shrine to pay respect and think of him as one of their own saints.
