Sultan of Brunei bans Christmas 'because it could damage faith of Muslims'

They sit on toilets of gold bro, yet the Prophets(as) were men of simple cloth. I can't believe they have the audacity to preach faith. Serious, judge a man by his actions. I can go on. The collective people of the Abrahamic faiths can see through this charade.
in simple terms his royal highness is a troll and will give good food for the saturday night stand in comedians who will curse Islam and Muhammad PBUH as usual instead of mocking those who bring shame to the Muslims

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Lol. Well put my brother.

Its the same for many 'Christian' rulers who appear outwardly religious or proponents of the faith, but lead double lives and contrary to what is taught in the faith.

Holy Q'uran reminds us in Sura 56, Waaia:

43. And in the shades of Black Smoke:

44. Nothing (will there be) to refresh, nor to please:

45. For that they were wont to be indulged, before that, in wealth (and luxury),

46. And persisted obstinately in wickedness supreme!

Lovely post bro.

It awakens me, my friend, as punishment of God is eternal and immediate after we pass this world.

Scary in its own right.

Yup, and dont forget psychological punishment as well, failed person forever as the test is only one time. We hope we all pass the test and become the winner.

It is the one that is really Eternal. Such looser feeling forever.

The lower the oil price and hence revenues, the more fervent the religiosity of the Trolling Sultan. Clearly, to control his worries about a popular uprising. A tried-and-true trick of the faithful servants of God and Allah alike. :D

looking at his costume (not commenting at his face) he is no different to the comical figures in cartoons and slap comedy movies and also some real life buffoons with layers of medals and titles.. as per rule of nature.. they meet a "natural" end and I wont loose a sleep if he does as well.

Oh he will. Oil in Brunei is running out soon.

"Zealots assert that a more pious Brunei will probably grow faster, because Allah will perhaps let it discover more hydrocarbons. The growing consensus, as one analyst puts it, is: “You don’t need to work, but to pray.”

:D

My opinion is let's respect cultural difference, including that of religious nature, though I am from an atheist country. Religions could be among the most important intangible cultural heritages of various ancient civilizations.

That religious stuffs and being a fervent church/mosque goer, praying X times a day and stuffs to me is useless. Since even ISIS fighters do pray more than many religious people and go to mosque etc etc. yet i don't know if we can say they are really role models/good examples. Iool To me all these stuff is useless. I have seen so called 'religious' people here (both Christians and Muslims alike) who are even worse in their treatment of others than atheists by far even though they are so called devout Muslims/Christians. Most of them (not all though) with all due respect are often hypocrites. lol To me as far as you treat your neighbor as yourself, you don't need to be religious to be good to/ treat others well. Just my opinion though. :pop:

Its all about the golden rule, Michael. "Treat others as you would like to be treated!"

That's it. That's that.
