Sukhoi pitches SuperJet to Iranian carriers with offer of partial manufacturing in Iran

Because we can't even build these Russian craps ...
I don't like Russians but we have no place to name Russian's Air plane as "junk, Garbage , Craps and etc..." ...
When dozens of Iranians have lost their lifes on Russian planes it is justified to say Russian garbage.

Another problem is that long-range planes shouldnt be used on short routes because material fatigue might appear on its hull which again means more inspection = expensive.
Why would such thing occur ?

Btw, i plan to travel with Turkish airlines to Mashad from Istanbul. Is TA safe ? How is it known in Turkey ?

Because the hull of the plane expands in high altitutes, long range planes usualy dont take off and land as much as short range planes.
There are many airlines operating long range planes on short distances but it isnt recommended as far as i know.

Its awarded the 4th best airline in the world and best European airline 5 times in a row, this should answer your question.

How safe are the A320 or Airbus as a whole ? I think Boeing 777 is suited for routes like Tehran-Mashad.

Ontopic : We negotiated with the West for years just to buy more Russian crap ? Doesnt make sense. We need to order big stuff from Airbus and Boeing.

lol...777 are for intercontinental flight. It would be pure madness to use them for inland flight.

How safe A320 and airbus are in general? Is that a joke? Its absolute top of the world with highest standards, same as Boeing.

you are right. We strongly remember evry airline that long range planes should not be used on inland flights. Long range aircrafts are usually much heavier and larger than short range aircrafts. The forces during take off and landing are extreme and can cause structural failure. Japan used 747 for inland flights and lost a machine with hundreds of lifes because of that.

A long range aircraft is designed to take off and stay many hours in the air. It is not designed to take off and land multiple times each day.

I'm sorry but this whole "partial manufracturing" is a complete joke. Contrary to what some of you might think you wont receive any sensitive technology or know-how. Commercial airplanes are already mostly build and assembled by parts that are produced by foreign third parties, a position which Iran is simply offered. Really this might sound nice and all on paper but Iran has no reason to opt for Russian airplanes of uncertain quality and reliability compared to Airbus or Boeing. Dont let them sweet talk you into it.

Well I have once shown that we nearly lost the same amount of lives in western and eastern airplane crashes.
And honestly when you lease 20 year old airplanes from countries like Uzbekistan and Tajikistan then what you expect?

We started manufacturing the cars same way. First, we only assembled. Then started production of some less technology intensive parts like body, upholstery and etc.and finally we got to the point where we started manufacturing engines under license. Now we are designing cars. You can't compare them with Mercedes but they are reasonably good and get the work done. Just so you know, we didn't start with top of the line Cadillac or Mercedes. We started with a medium quality car (Hilman Hunter 1966) that used to be manufactured by a English company called Rootes group that doesn't even exist today. But that brought the knowledge and know how to Iran and rest were built upon it.

Same can happen about the aircraft manufacturing. In time, Iran can be among the countries that produces commercial aircraft. And let's be reasonable, with the commercial space traveling age across the corner, soon commercial aircrafts won't be considered a highech product. Just like what happened to automobiles.

Companies like Boeing and Airbus will be much less flexible in sharing their tech compared to companies like Yak or Sukhoi that are struggling to keep their commercial sector alive.

In other words you want shitty machines for your country, with dubious quality, no market and a reputation as low as the mariana trench?

is now pushing Sukhoi to redesign the jet albeit using locally manufactured components. In addition to stimulating local industries and removing the country's reliance on the West, the move is also expected to drive the overall cost of the Rouble-denominated Superjet down thus making it a more appealing prospect to customers, particularly those in emerging markets.

Good offer as the west would not offer any tot/local manufacturing option it seems a good offer.

Why not embraer

That superjet even lacks winglets !!!

. . .
That the only reason? Our Boeing 787 which is the newest passenger aircraft doesn't have it.

This is not the point !

Aerodynamically, raked wingtips and winglets provide similar benefits - except, winglets have the additional benefit of providing a small forward vector that contributes to overall efficiency.

They both reduce wingtip vortex drag.

In other words they want a plane that after 5 years in service proved to be superior in quality, comfortability and fuel efficiency to all other planes in its category. Why are you so bothered about that, shithead?

.
well for civilian passenger planes the Boeing and airbus are best, Russia are better in war planes

I work in taht field. The superjet is a technological failure.

Show me some stats of your claims. :) Nobody buys it and the airlines that did roder it cancelled their orders.

Simple fact is that this airplane is a shitty product.

If Iran wanted russian trash they would not have made that nuclear deal.

not even that. Russia offers a cheap version for nations with limited budget.
