What's new

Suggestion needed to buy a car In Pakistan for the family of 3.

Honda BRV is a nice suggestion.
BRV is Under-powered which in turns give bad fuel economy.

Honda city is great in economy and power because with 1500 cc and 120 Bhp, it has good power to weight ratio which gives good acceleration with 2-3 people and decent acceleration with 5 people. Now put same engine in BRV, heavier 100 KG at least minimum. Put 7 people in it and switch on A/C, the engine will scream if you rev it and drink fuel.

Suggestion needed to buy a car In Pakistan for the family of 3 which can go long distance and some hilly areas as well.

Go for 1300 cc or less if you can.
New options are Honda City and Toyota Corolla GLi.
Otherwise lots of Japanese 660cc and 1000cc options like Passo, Aqua etc.
In 1.3, Honda City is 100 Bhp and Corolla is 85 Bhp. Problem with City is stiff suspension. 3-4 people in car and it will touch on speed breakers. Corolla is expensive but comfortable than City and height is better than City.
City 1.5 will have more power and options.

1600cc. Corolla 1.6 is really good. Fuel economy of 1.6 and 1.3 doesn't have much difference, 1.3 is economical.
Older Civic's , pre 2006, which are 1.6 are also very good in power and comfort.

1800cc. Altis and Civic will drink fuel like anything. Put on Eco mode and you may save on fuel. Otherwise comfort and power (135 and 140 Bhp) are excellent.

If you want to go for SUV, go for Late 1990's Prado, they keep going and going. 1KZ 3000cc diesel is an awesome engine. Prado parts are cheaper than Land Cruiser. Don't go for Surf, chassis will be of Hilux and body change issues.
Jimny and Mini Pajero , you will waste your money.

Stay away from Suzuki.

There is any 4 x 4 affordable vehicle like RAV 4 available in Pakistan max budget 23 to 25
Sorry, although I am a petrolhead and I can go on about cars forever but exactly what is the best car for your circumstances is something only person living in Pakistan with good knowledge of the local car market can give advice.

I do know that the Pakistani car buyer is being scalped by the car mafia - which is a unholy alliance between some well connected individuals inside Pakistan and the Japanese car makers.

Ps. This might sound like brag but I am planning on buying either a Porsche Panemera or BMW 600 series coupe. Tough choice. Pana is huge, ugly but has the 'Porsche' factor. Beemer is a beauty and nippy to drive but still is just a Beemer. And in our culture there is this need to brag to our relatives/competitors.

These cars you mention just few hours back gave me shock of life when I checked their website for price, In Pakistan these vehicles are x 4 time expensive than rest of the world.....How will pay 2.5 crore of Porsche? certainly I am not the guy...I can purchase some gun for that price but for Car....I would love to ride rikshaw instead of wasting huge money on cars.

This is what I meant when I said "Pakistani buyer is being scalped". To think of it more like being "skinned".

How will pay 2.5 crore of Porsche?

I want this type of car....Banda 25 lakh bhi dey or look bhi Prado jaisi na ho :D
Honda Vezel is a decent crossover and it's starting to become trendy in Pakistan. Looking at the prices on Pak Wheels it seems the starting price for a 2016 version is 32 Lakh. A little expensive, considering it's not new however it's imported and that's why the cost is so high.

Specs:
1500CC (1.5L)
Hybrid

Vehicle Features: ABS, Sat Nav, Air Con, Power Mirrors, Reverse Camera, Alloy Wheels, CD/DVD Player, Heated and cooled seats, immobilizer, *I think it has 6 airbags*

Sounds like you need a compact SUV, which is not actually an SUV. Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Brezza would be our choices. So buy something similar. Don't buy 4x4.

Mehran is the name or u just making fun ... U guys also get all new models from maruti
Mehran is Maruti 800. But Indian 800 had its own evolution until it died.
Pak Suzuki is sort of the Pak version of Maruti Suzuki, but without the R&D that Maruti has.
