Suggestion needed to buy a car In Pakistan for the family of 3.

BRV is a nice SUV from Honda. Starts at 9 lakhs in India so it must be starting from 15-16 or so in Pakistan. It has 1500 cc petrol/diesel engine with 117 bhp power. Good enough. Another model you can go for is WR-V which is 20-30% less costly though with 1200 cc engine and 90 bhp power.
Honda BRV is a nice suggestion.

Suggestion needed to buy a car In Pakistan for the family of 3 which can go long distance and some hilly areas as well.
Really depends on the budget, not just buying but running expenditure as well.

I would suggest a Honda City as it is a nice compact sedan. Very comfortable (as per Pakistani standards), decent fuel average.
If they want spend less and are ok with hatch back, go for Suzuki Sintgray. A perfect car that will do 100-110 on motorway and i was in Naran on one last April, no problems at all. Does 23km to a liter in city.
Another option can be Toyota Aqua, its a Hybrid so good average, prices is i think slightly more than a city but it looks nicer too and will consume less fuel.

As for going to hill area, i would say every car out there will take a family of three to northern areas with out any problem. Roads are excellent up to Gilgit and even beyond. Just try going off-road on these.

Honda BRV is a nice suggestion.
i though you said "family of three"

Do you guys have ford EcoSport available in Pakistan? It will be in your budget as well and very powerful and nice car in that segment. Just check out.

Details, Picture, price?
BRV is a 7 seater with a 1.5 litre engine from Honda. Price in Pakistan is between 23-25 lac depending on options. It has got very good ground clearance as well as folding seats so a good long distance car.

Even though it has got Honda's latest Earth Dreams engine it is not going to be a very powerful car since the engine is small compared to the size of the vehicle.

The general go to car in Pakistan is the Toyota Corolla Gli 1.3 variant, similar to lower price range as BRV. Corolla in Pakistan can go most places as well because Pakistani local cars have better ground clearance than their international versions.

If you have a lower budget 1.3 Suzuki Swift is good. Even lower than Suzuki Cultus, lower than that is the Suzuki Wagon R but its only available in manual.

I own a 660 japanese import as a second car and will not recommend any car with 660cc if planning to keep it long. The 660 engines are DOHC and work on higher revs which is why they don't have the same life as local car engines. No matter how much care you give the car these 660s don't last as much. Luckily if you own one or still want one used 660cc replacement engines in Pakistan are really cheap even if it dies out.

I don't know much about cars and have no interest either..Currently I have Cultus which is too old to be call even chakra so decided to buy a decent car for daily use and the same one to travel long distances. I think BRV is a nice suggestion although I don't need 7 seater but if one is available in my budget I have no issue....But I need to do good research before buying any car.

Honda BRV is a nice suggestion.

BRV is a 7 seater vehicle and not actually an SUV.

If your not off-roading, then the following car would be suitable;

Corolla Altis 1.6 Auto.(Can go anywhere with comfort) Same price as of the BRV, but more comfortable drive.

Ooh I was thinking BRV is 4 x 4 like Rav 4....

There is any 4 x 4 affordable vehicle like RAV 4 available in Pakistan max budget 23 to 25
@Kaptaan

.
At that price you could probably pick up a used hilux.

@Kaptaan

4x4 is

Extra weight
Extra maintenance
Lower pickup
Lower top speed
Higher fuel consumption
More wear and tear

Compared to a same model 4x2

Buy only if you are going to use it. Otherwise put a "4x4" sticker like many do!

Cheers, Doc

Lols....

means 15 to 20 max 25
My suggestion: http://www.toyota-indus.com/altis/

Toyota and Suzuki work really well in mountainous regions.

I rented an Honda Civic for my trip to mountainous regions, and regretted it. Toyota and Suzuki cars are decently elevated for rough roads and pathways on average, and there road grip is also very good.
