SU 30 crashed near Jaisalmer

30 members and 74 guests . damn .

Nonetheless as @Thorough Pro put in 4 crashes in 15 years is not bad considering the number of hours put in .

Crashes happens, good thing is that our pilots are safe. . .

Guys it need to be understood that all AFs around the world expect and budget for crashes- it goes with the territory.

Seperating the MIG-series issue, the IAF has a pretty good record. As the 4th largest AF on earth you expect a crash from time to time, the most important thing is the pilots are safe.

+does anyone think these guys are going for a nice joy ride in a Cessna? These guys are pushing themselves and their machines to the limits on a regular basis, the fact this happened at night just compounds this. Don't draw any unfair conclusions about the state of the IAF as a whole from these incidents.

Crashes are a part of te game we all know that. But when you have GOI blacklisting one firm after other and you are growing more on scarcity than fullfillment then its time to do some serious act.

ENOUGH to SAVE our MOTHERLAND. Don't you worry mate :)

@Abingdonboy @sancho It's time that atleast the decision makers in the MOD are from the armed forces than regular Bureaucrats. I don't want to see the security of this country being threatened just b'coz some SAINT thinks his image is more important that the security of entire country. Already the noises are being made, to derail the Rafale deal, believe me, even a minor error in the deal can threaten months of delay in it.

Mate you're not wrong!

Antony has set a dangerous precdent with the cancellation of the 197 LUH/RSH deal and now the moves to cancel the AW-101 deal without waiting to see if these ALLEGATIONS have any merit whatsoever.

A "Saint" indeed! Since when was being SELFISH make you saintly???!!

It's true what they say, if they don't fly, they don't die, however it's always a set back when a crash occurs just before a major exhibition, no doubt the exercise will go as planned but it will leave an apprehension in the minds.

What ever bracket you them in, end result is the same, btw any pics of the crashed beast, pics help to understand the cause of the crash

oh really.... from the pics you can figure out the root cause............. :P
