It just needed to be shown to PLA that "tent" had to go. And it did.

On a side thing.. those C-130 transports and HAL Dhruv helicopters actually ended up helping in the relief work against the recent floods in Uttarakhand.

A war in two fronts is not possible unless its a world war.China don't want to get involved in a war with India even with the help of Pakistan,its only Pakistan who fantasize about a war with India specially a nuclear one so that it can use its holy nukes atleast against someone without thinking about the consequences.So far none of the 3 countries have been involved in a direct war with a nuclear nation but a war would be devastating for all 3 countries.

How do you think both USSR and USA didn't involved in a direct war despite of having so much indirect conflicts and tensions?? NUKES may have been developed to bring mass devastation but it has and has been preventing war though unintentionally.
As i said a war wont occur until its a big one with many parties involved.

Well having been born and brought up in the UK, I can't see India being all that special in this regard. Similar case of endless promsies and talking and little to show for it many years down the road.

Conventional logic dictates, that if would take x nukes to completely destroy India..it would take only x/5 nukes to do same damage to Pakistan. As almost all your river flow from us..you be careful before contaminating those rivers and adjoining soil.
