Stonewalled China looks to Pak

.
In Africa's trade with China, there is no feasibility of a tade link via Pakistan.

Middle eastern trade with China can only go through Pakistan. So that would be a bonus for Pakistan. not any other area.

.
Please elaborate.

Sudanese and Egyptian oil can be transported via Gwadar and much of the processed minerals from southern Africa.

.
Ah right right!
i forgot about Gwadar, was not taking that into account.

Then i agree with you.It would be benificial for Pakistan!

.
It will be beneficial for all parties using the link as it will provide cheaper transportation mileage.

Shipment thru see is calcualted in FOB. Seelink between African via Malakka and South China Sea is atleast 10.000 km, which will only increase the costs debanding on oil demand and supply on the world market.

Sino-Pak corridor will be heavily subsidised, yes we can do that since we're not a member of WTO yet, resulting in cheaper transportation via land.

And this is my 5000th post, now congradulate me you puncks! :partay:

.
W000tt!!
congratz Neo,
Now, as we usually say to our friends here on any achievement---Party kahan de rahe ho yaar?!?! :P

Seriously dude, gd1.

P.S: Is Pakistan not a member of WTO??????????????? I didnt know that!

.
Didn't I answer that already?
No official figure's been released yet but China will get concessions for atleast a decade.
FTA agreement should cover the details including transit fee etc.

Concessions!!!
They invested the majority share in Gwadar and they just get concessions.

Wont they have a say in the revenues generated by the pakistani goods exported through gwadar?

No, China doesn't work the imperial way. They've helped us build the port on soft term loans, very little was donated, and the loan will be returned under the terms.

You're forgetting that tenders were issued by GoP in 1996 already to find investors for this mega project. It was only after the nuclear testing in 1998 that USA imposed fresh load of sanctions to us which mainly resulted in China getting the project lead.

USA too was interested in developping the port to gain strategic depth and political influence in the region.
