I didn't post anything in here because it's not official yet altough it is known since yesterday that the Turkish firm is the only one who remained in the tender.

I'm also very curious about what this modernisation offers.

I wonder if this modernisation includes Turkish weapon systems.
I read from IHS Jane's Defence Weekly that the upgrade will cost RON839 million" (USD208 million) with bidding being open to companies with at least five years' experience in the sector. Under the Phase 2 modernisation effort, "the two frigates will be equipped with anti-aircraft and anti-naval missiles and special sensors that will be integrated into a computer system.
I think Genesis will be the battle management system but what about missiles and sensors?

I think the weapon systems will consist ESSM and Harpoon missiles
These systems can easily be controlled by the Genesis system
And if there is enough $$$ left perhaps a phalanx ciws
