As you can see, this fighter have no internal weapons pod. But there are three semiflush pylons. My English is poor. Do you know what I mean? Like Eurofighter Typhone.
Don't worry. The biggest enemy of India Air Force is India Air Force. More than 1000 aircrafts crashed in 40 years.
And I don't know if pak-fa is as good as Russian said.
The Jf-17 is a small plane; with limited space, but with an improvement in engine thrust and a decent design improvement this plane can be a potent fighter against even the best of the IAF (such as the IAF Gnat was a simple but versatile design that held its own in the 1965 air war with the PAF)
This design has some good features but is repeating some of the major flaws of the f-35 without the benefits
with a plane this size; the idea of "semiflush pylons" is perfect compromise; lower radar cross section, lower drag, like in the eurofighter
next the plane has a blended body to wing on top which helps; similar to turkish stealth design
1. the plane should have the canopy a little higher and more single piece bubble shape like the design of the j-31 model from zhuhai 2014 or the gripen ng
2. the gun should be move on top to prevent interference from missile launch/carriage underneath
3. finally Most Importantly; the wheels need to be moved further out and blended with the wing under neath; to reduce the body shape from a fat cylinder to more of a blended spread "half ellipse" also like the gripen ng
the overall design should follow the trend set by the gripen NG but with integrating the best of lower rcs/stealth features
(added two images; fair use for discussion; with respect to copyright holders)
The Wheel Placement will free up space for bvr missiles and removal of the gun from underneath can open up space for 2 wvr missile semiflush also, making the plane close to stealth head on a possible, while improving the shape underneath and improving the manuerability by blending the plane from a cylinder to a smooth ellipse when looked at in cross section
also a fuel probe can be placed next to the canopy if there is space, or on one side of the blended wing if there is not enough space
