Of course we recognize that Russia is one of India's oldest and closest allies. The fact that these exercises are being held right after Uri attack, despite Indian pressure & appeals for cancellation & keeping in mind Pakistan's history with regards to Russia is what matters.

Indian news channels, social media accounts, Indians on this very website were celebrating when the exercises got "cancelled" as per Indian media reports & now they're sheepishly backtracking by saying that they're not being held in AJK so it's a win for India. That's not what y'all were saying a few days ago. You were claiming they got cancelled outright because of Modiji's stern warning to the Russians. Let's not change the topic now.

If I was an Indian I would be furious at my media for spreading what was obviously blatant propaganda.

Get over it, China is holding exercises with India along the disputed China-India border.

If India-Pakistan conduct military exercises in J&K, there would not be any issue but Russia or China doing it would be an issue.

Indians are trying to save face now.Someone should re-post their posts from the thread about cancellations where they couldn't control their zeal.

They're here. We have a very complicated history with them & it will be one step at a time.

The fact that they came despite reports of cancellations is enough for now.
