Starbucks is coming to Pakistan! Guess which city?

Starbucks has become known for its “secret menu” of drinks created by customers and baristas (the people who make the coffee) that are quasi-officially available.

This has happened because the chain allows people to mix and match its ingredients in any manner they want. That means that a customer can order a caramel macchiato with raspberry sauce or a black tea lemonade with whipped cream.

Those are, of course, absurd examples that would not gain traction due to the incompatibility of the drink ingredients, but some consumer- or barista-created beverages have caught on.

And now it is coming to Pakistan!

According to sources, Karachi and Islamabad will get the first outlets. And you will be allowed to brew your own coffee.

So with the #chaiwala trending on Twitter and elsewhere out of our reach, maybe it is time to turn to Starbucks to drown our woes.

They should be informed, that fast food = junk food.
Yup but they are expensive, well furnished So any kid falls in trap. Pizza parlors, MacDonald always on the menu of school kids.
1. They thought it or take it as a status symbol.
2. Apparently clean so OK chit from parents.
3. Different food what we are eating at home.

main reasons behind the quick success.

Well I have been a coffee addict and wouldn't mind a cup from anywhere. Be it Starbucks, Costa, Nero or Pret a Manger but recently I am rather enjoying the creamy Frappuccino more and hardly go back to my all time companions of Latte or Cappuccino. Even in Costa I noticed ordering Strawbery & Cream or other flavours more often these days.

I do like coffee though and thoroughly enjoy drinking once a day.

Starbucks coffee is horrible.Don't know how people can stand it. The coffee beans are often burnt, making the taste bitter.

I roast and grind my own coffee, therefore a picky coffee drinker. Sorry!!

So true. Never liked their coffee.

But who will discuss when someone says he had a nice tea prepared at home? I like Starbucks coffee with extra cream simply superb (A kid in a class or in group of friends) then everybody would like to share his/her own experience of coffee at Starbucks to prove his/her own class / style for status.

TBH coffee is not popular in Karachi , yeah in winter people do drink it , but most of the time its to hot people don't

but its Star bucks just like KFC , MacDonalds people will rush there and have selfies etc but like hardees it will also get less sales
