KARACHI: Senior police officer Rao Anwar narrowly escaped an attempt on his life in Karachi on Saturday.

According to sources, unknown miscreants armed with grenades attacked the convoy of SSP Rao Anwar on Link Road near Steel Town.

Police teams opened retaliatory fire, forcing the assailants to flee.
According to police, Rao Anwar is safe.The latest attack comes a day after DSP Abdul Fateh was killed in a similar gun attack in Gulshan-e-Hadeed.

May be plan was to kill and make Rao iftikhar run away to make blame away from MQM. So people the so called make up theory since Rao Iftikhar run away from attacked that's why it was planned that MQM did plan to make kill RAO Iftikhar to kill by Rao Iftikhar.
