I highly doubt anyone would able to beat Gotabaya if he contests. His lack of popularity among Muslims and Tamils is more than made up by the support of Sinhalese. Catholics who tend to be 50:50 will most likely be overwhelmingly anti-government this time. Mangala have been picking fights with the Cardinal and Monks while Ranjan pretty much made every monk in Sri Lanka an enemy.

RAW can do nothing in SL. The only votes, India has control is Tamil votes. Even that is not sure this time.
