Three Islamic countries attended India hosted G20 meet in Jammu and Kashmir

Your argumentation doesn't add up.

If it wasn't an important meeting in the first place, why go there and take part in this charade? India purposefully chose the location to push its anti-Pakistan agenda.

Clearly, this was an lousy attempt by the Modi government to legitimise brutal Indian occupation of Keşmir.

For Pakistan, this issue is a conditio sine qua non in her international relationships. How would you like it if the government of Pakistan would support Papua New Guinea's claims against Indonesia?

Sorry but Indonesia needs to apologise.

Dude, my family member has been to Indian administered Kashmir, there is no brutal occupation happening there,

This Kashmir this Kashmir that has drag Pakistan into Military lead state and spend almost 4 % of its total GDP for military spending

Better see reality and move forward

Big boost to tourism in Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370; record 26 lakh tourists visited valley in 2022
View attachment 931545
A record 26 lakh tourists visited the Kashmir valley last year.

This was officially stated, and the source pointed out that the central Government has always maintained that the revocation of Article 370 of the Constitution in August 2019 has helped Jammu & Kashmir to witness a huge change with the resumption of tourism and also a massive decline in terror activities.

By February 2023, for the first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir, a record 1.88 crore tourists visited the union territory in 2022.

Union Minister of State in PMO, Jitendra Singh, said enormous avenues of opportunity had been unfolded by PM Modi across the country and “this is the message and the perception to be carried from here.”

Around 122 delegates, including 60 foreigners, arrived in Srinagar for the third G20 tourism working group meeting on May 22.

By February 2023, for the first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir, a record 1.88 crore tourists visited the union territory in 2022.

"The G20 event will falsify all the false narratives created by vested interests or by cynics or self-styled critics. The event is a moment of rejuvenation and reincarnation. This is just returning to the Shammi Kapoor- era, who shot most films here. Kashmir is a cost-effective place with a variety of locations,” Jitendra Singh said.

Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Apurva Chandra, told All India Radio that the Ministry is providing incentives to foreign filmmakers with the objective of making India a favourite destination. He expressed the hope that more filmmakers will visit Kashmir to shoot their films.

Official sources have stated that if the UT of Jammu & Kashmir is prominently featured in a feature film with more than 75 per cent shooting days in the UT, then the tourism sector of the UT gets the direct benefit.

Such a film shall be given an additional subsidy of Rs. 50 lakh, which shall be decided by the JKFDC on a case-to-case basis.

The first three-day significant international event’ is being held in Jammu & Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370 four years back. The three-day G20 mega event from May 22-24, is focusing on five key priority areas: Green Tourism, Digitalization, Skills, MSMEs and Destination Management.

Officials say Srinagar is “decked up well” for hosting the prestigious third Tourism Working Group Meeting of G20 members. Representatives from Spain, Singapore, and Mauritius are discussing film tourism in the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir.

Spain, Singapore, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil and India are among seven countries to discuss the global perspective of film tourism, as well as its economic benefits and impact in Jammu & Kashmir.

The event’ Film Tourism for Economic Growth and Cultural Preservation’ is part of the mega third Tourism Working Group Meeting.

"There cannot be a better place than Kashmir for shooting movies. The Centre go out of our way in providing assistance in shooting movies and shoot locations and help to shift film destination from any other part to Kashmir,” G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said.

Singapore’s High Commissioner to India, Simon Wong, has praised the beauty of Kashmir and said that he is “very happy” to be in Srinagar. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Simon Wong said, “Very happy to be in Srinagar. Pure beauty. Thank you so much for your warm welcome. HC Wong.”

According to noted actor K Ram Charan of ‘RRR’ fame, Jammu & Kashmir remains an “untapped” location.

It’s magical to see Kashmir because it’s absolutely magnificent, he said, addressing the ‘Film Tourism for Economic and Cultural Preservation’ event.

Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy has said that the Centre will soon declare a National Tourism Policy and is also planning a Global Tourism Investment Summit.

The Government is also planning to host the Global Tourism Investment Summit.

G Kishan said while tourism in Jammu & Kashmir is growing, “Today we are running the 74-160 flights up to Leh. Also, the weekly flight tally for Srinagar has gone up to 532 flights since the end of last year. This year we are expecting a double tourist number, including both foreign and domestic.”

He also said, “I hope that India will become a world tourist destination in the coming years. We are also working with all the State Governments on different schemes and policies.”

"Films have great potential to attract tourists from across the globe. It helps in boosting many other sectors like hospitality, transportation, etc. Film tourism is also about ensuring cultural preservation, promotion of talent and boosting the economy of the region,” G Kishan said.

The so-called revocation of Art. 370 is not to be supported, but should not be commented upon, as the matter is sub judice.

The Supreme Court has not taken up challenges to this so-called revocation.

It is however in the best interests of brothers and sisters of Kashmir that they should regain some of their lost prosperity and growth due to the interest of our own citizens in touring the segmented state/present Union Territory.

Dude, my family member has been to Indian administered Kashmir, there is no brutal occupation happening there,
Absolutely correct. Thank you, Sir. Your word counts for far more than those of us who have also visited.

What credibility does Pakistan have on this matter when they have turned Pakistan into an occupied country?
It is painful to read this.

May Pakistan find an early resolution of her problems. 🙏

India should get into OIC (given the Muslim population here) and then host an OIC meet in Srinagar.
Your point is understood and appreciated, but I oppose anything more than observer status.

Our Muslim population are not pawns and we should try to return to the pure secular status that we enjoyed earlier.

Where are the locals🤣😂😂🤣🤣

The local Kashmiri population is under lockdown, they hate hindus inside Kashmir

As communal tensions rise across India, their will never be space for Hindus in Kashmir
Only a fool who has zero idea of what is going on inside the Vale would write that. Only a fool.....

I wouldn't think India and papa new quinea has the same level of heft in the world. I don't think Indonesia will care much about Pakistans position either way.

What is wion news ? Is it mainstream , Chinese or Indian ?

Anyhow REAL world headlines for the masses

I’ll stick to mainstream press thanks .

Disputed territory... ie not a part of India .

Meeting held by India in KASHMIR .
World is not fooled .
Only Pakistani hyper-patriots are fooled, it would seem.

An attempt to legitimise the illegal steps taken.

There is no brutal occupation going on, as you would know, if you had travelled there yourself. It is better that you do that and see for yourself. Of course, you are free to do whatever you like.

Sorry but Indonesia needs to apologise.
Look after your own polity and your economy, and all will be well with the rest of the world.

I think OIC should be abolished. Nikamma organization.
Makes sense.

If India were to let Kashmir go for the sake of argument, I believe Kashmiris would refuse to join Pakistan given the present situation. Instead, they would opt for an independent Azad nation.
I believe that given the treatment that they already stand entitled to, the treatment as citizens of India entitled to their dignity and self-respect, and minimal supervision, Kashmiris will choose to remain citizens of a secular, democratic India.

It is that treatment that needs to be enforced - enforced! - in full, and the silly behaviour of the central government rolled back, and the statehood of J&K restored.

This term Secular is derived by Western nations try to separate Church with their Government.

That is misleading definition for Muslim World. In Islam, unlike in early Christianity, we dont put our Priest position so high, even our God has warned us not to do so

--------------------------------

Quran, at taubah verse 31

[9:31] They take their rabbis and their monks for their lords apart from Allah, and also the Messiah, son of Mary, whereas they were commanded to worship none but the One True God. There is no god but He. Exalted be He above those whom they associate with Him in His Divinity.

-----------------------------

The best term for Indonesia and India is to be Tolerance to others, and Islam see Tolerance as very important aspect

Popular Turk vlogger actually visited Kashmir recently and even hitchhiked there.

Kashmiri trucker picked him up (and also Indian soldier a bit down the road)....there was a language barrier for him but they had a good time overall:

His Kashmir and larger Indian visit series has lot of interesting scenes and experiences:

I do not disagree with your analysis, as far as your country is concerned.

For India, however, we need secularism as strictly defined, not the multi-cultural variety that is practised in Great Britain, that we tried and failed to implement.

Maybe I can pick up on this outside this forum.

Is this the Azeri dude, Daoud Akhundzada? He has been very active throughout India (in this weather!) and nobody seems to have a clue about his country's hostility (at an official level) to India.

New blog.

Hadn't seen this before. Very interesting.

Would be interesting to get Shantiveer Sahib's interpretation about their Koshur conversation.

Davud Akhundzada is different guy, also very good stuff. I really loved his visit to some parts of Sri Lanka especially (Tamil hill country etc) as you can probably guess why....and also to Bangladesh and Nepal before that.

This fella is Oghuzan Tiras (aka Yirtik Pantolon), he narrates to audience mostly in Turkish (with CC/subtitles that he's improved with time)....whereas Davud uses English.

They do have a similar look to them with the beard and all heh.

Here are their channels (there is just too much for me still to get through in my limited spare time) for interested members:

people can support Kurds against Turkey

Can't it be in Mumbai or Delhi?
India this operation is too stingy, forced to participate in the default belongs to India territory.
For other countries, there is no need to enter into an unnecessary argument.
If one day South Korea hosts a G20 meeting, invite you to join on islands disputed with Japan.
It would be embarrassing for all the participants.

@Mirzah

Let's do the plebiscite then and put that theory to test shall we?

I would be OK as long as it is SHW and her BAL govt which is administering that plebiscite

Regards

Indians has no business in Kashmir. It is a Muslim land not hindu hell hole. It is very shameful for us that our pathetic BAL government sent anyone in indian occupied Kashmir. Even if it was an useless potato meeting...
