Judging by comments nobody like Indians in SL. So I request you to pressure your Govt to declare us enemy #01 and cut all ties with us. Also ban Indians from travelling to SL as we are evil, cruel and cunning.We even put Dr. Evil to shame.Nothing good can be expected from us.

Even Pakistan who count themselves as the best friends of Sl are not welcome:

I am not sure about others. Even India war with other don't make any different with war against SL. Even we will have war with other countries, then also India-SL War is certain. Only matter is WHEN ?

That's why i said, SL should start investing good amount of money in Defence because timing of War is never decided but Defence preparation is.

Also, if China attacks India then we will attack SL beside facing China. We won't leave China's friend SL at any cost

For Pakistan - Sukhoi 30 MKI, Mirage M2k, MIG29 + Rafale/Typhoon (later)

For China/BD - Sukhoi 30 MKI + Rafale/Typhoon (Later)

For SL - Tejas MK1 + Tejas MK2 (Later)

Also, We have Kochi, Lakshwadeep, Vishakapatnam, Karwal Naval base mainly in south with 100+ War Ships + Aircraft carrier + Nuke Submarine too.

We have Madras Army Regiment at Chennai.

Hareh yaar they are just SL no regiment is needed to destroy them.our police forces is more than enough + few attack helicopters and patrol ships THEN v would have the dinner at SL president house. HERE some people told to use brahmos against SL ,see brahmos has some sort of dignity u can't use wherever u want .

Rubbish.

I think of all her neighbours India has the best of relations with Sri Lanka (and Bhutan).

But have to say the Chinese have been a LOT more pro-active about developing relations with countries not only in South Asia, but in other parts of the world.

Unfortunately, India tends to ignore smaller countries while China does not.

For example, I don't think India would pay half as much attention to Sri Lanka/Nepal/Bangladesh/Myanmar if it wasn't for China. And I think recent Indian investment in Sri Lanka is there only because China is doing it... sort of "trying to keep up with the joneses." This is being reactive and not proactive.

This is a big flaw in Indian policy, as I see it. India could have easily and still can out manoeuvre China in South Asia, but this is not happening because of too much self-obsession.
