Also, it is not permissible for the monk or nun just to pick out the non-meat portions of a diet and leave the rest: the whole meal must be rejected.[7]

Chapter 7 of the Nirvana Sutra (translated by Kosho Yamamoto and edited by Dr. Tony Page) states:

One who eats meat kills the seed of great compassion... O Kasyapa! I, from now on, tell my disciples to refrain from eating any kind of meat. O Kasyapa! When one eats meat, this gives out the smell of meat while one is walking, standing, sitting or reclining. People smell this and become fearful. This is as when one comes near a lion. One sees and smells the lion, and fear arises. O good man! When one eats garlic, the dirty smell is unbearable. Other people notice it. They smell the bad smell. They leave that person and go away. Even from far off, people hate to see such a person. They will not come near him. It is the same with one who eats meat. It is a similar situation with all people who, on smelling the meat, become afraid and entertain the thought of death. All living things in the water, on land and in the sky desert such a person and run away. They say that this person is their enemy. Hence the Bodhisattva does not eat meat.

Actually you are quite wrong.......Pigs, dogs all kinds of animals roam around mosques and their premises all the time(well true for Isb)............Your analogy here reeks of ignorance....We as muslims have a concept of 'Najasut' even if our body comes in contact with our own blood the body gets 'Najus' same goes for all kinds of bodily secreations and we cannot offer prayers when "Najus"...we dont consume pork, thats a different matter, I dont recall ever eating beef in my entire life. So yes, if a dog or a pig enters the premises of a mosque it will be escorted out, but will definitely not lead to any thing drastic. However if someone is spreading Najasut like that of a dead animals blood on purpose then this has ethical, moral, biological implications, what to speak of religious factors.

What if a person deliberately puts a pig inside a Mosque. Will he be spared?

They threw in a dead pigs head, which means Najasut spread all over they would have to clean the place and also all those people who came in contact with it became Najus. But as I mentioned in previous post, this has implications exceeding the religious factors. Would you approve of some random hooligans pelting your house with dead rats? Nope you wouldnt and nobody would. What if they are infected? Would you like to get sprayed by an Aids infected blood? No na.... then dont treat others they way you dont want to be treated. Besides South Indians were never called Melechha it was just a term used in Bhavishya Purana to denote people residing west of Saraswati River basically who didn't belong to Aryawata(India) n were uncivilized people.
