That's not fair. SL continues to be democratic ....with certain hiccups. No worse than what Indra Gandhi used to do.

Rajapaksha is even now acting as dictator so forget about expecting respect for SL Tamils from his govt. He got even the kids killed in the name of LTTE. TBH, people in Tamil Nadu and SL Tamils are distant cousins so obviously they will feel the pain much more/better than any other Indian in any other part of India. To say the least it's quite unfortunate that even though we all are Indians but when it comes to seeing the pain we see it/feel it on the basis of our ethnicity and on the basis of region we belong to.. shame!!

come on mate, terrorist issue was in northern part of Sri Lanka, we can't allow some extremists ideas. People live around the country we don't hear any issue from them. And Tamils aren't the only ethnic in SL. Second citizens myths is what's in their mind, I have seen this in Malaysia and your own country in India. Neither you nor me can understand better the emotional connect between Indian Tamils and Sri lankan Tamils than a Tamil and on the same lines you may not know the issues of Srilankan Tamils better than Indian Tamils. Having said that, I don't advocate any extremism on the issue and believe the issue should be raised and resolved amicably .

I have seen terrorist logos and some of their leaders are using when there is a protest. There are plenty of Tamil parties in here, government ministers and local councils members etc What I have always seen is TN is always support pro Tamil tiger organizations. If they really concern about Tamils they can come and visit those areas and Tamil political leaders than siding to terror outfits always!
