The same logic can be applied in India also. The Babri Masjid should be built in the exact same dimensions in a separate place leaving the current place in Ayodhya exclusively for the construction of temple. Muslims value the mosque while Hindus value the land..a win -win for both groups.

It was a Govt decision and the 2nd part would have happened if GoSL had not acted within next week. I think GoSL have learnt some lessons from Indian Babri Masjid incident.

even many temples in Kerala also including Kodungallur temple. remember Ezhavas are from lanka who were buddhists.. at a later term became OBC community in Hindu system. disappearance of Buddhism because of "Bhakti movement" AFAIK.
