Sri Lanka backs Pakistan govt after Osama bin Laden's death

Anyone who sympathizes with the Mumbai terror attacks is a blot on humanity however this has nothing to do with what I was stating to yourself as you seemed to go an a tangent. I was merely stating that Pakistanis and Indians are vastly different in terms of culture and don’t get along at all despite your own experiences!

Still you British using your "Divide and Concur" policy. It sounded a very necessary strategy during your colonial rule not now, except the hardliners in India and Pakistan, every one wants a cordial relationship.

When the incident happened, on the same night Islamabad informed all its close friends.

Diplomatic hotline from Islamabad to Beijing, Colombo, Tehran, Ankara & Riyadh went extremely busy……

Regarding Sri Lanka on world affairs.

Sri Lanka a strategic shipping hub and also a strategic aviation hub.

Sri Lanka maintains a strategic link between west and east in trade activities.

Sri Lanka Situated on the middle of Indian Ocean.

Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world's oceanic divisions.

u have too much free time i think:lol:

I'm a British citizen of Pakistani origin who regularly visit his country of origin so wherever you conjured up this notion that i have no relationship to my place of origin further highlights how deluded you Indians truly are.

I doubt a Pakistani would want cordial relationships with an Indian, honestly!

And why would you belive that a ordinary Pakistani would not want a cordial relationship with India, Do you belive that both India and Pakistan treating each other as Enemy for the comming years is going to do any good on common grounds, Some Indians like me belive that our Pakistani brothers are not so hard in the inside as you are in the outside. One day or the other we will persue a better path for peace and prosperity.
If you say that ordinary Pakistan is not interested in cordial relationhip then why is your former leader stunned the world when he went to our former PM Vajpayee seat at the SARRC sumit to lend his friendly hand.

There are people all over Pakistan.. that want lasting peace.. as there are in India..
And there are those that have lost their sanity to jingoism on both sides as well.
However, peace must not come at the sacrifice of one side alone.. be it India or Pakistan.
It has to be a mutually beneficial agreement.. and not where one nation bends its knees backwards.
The Past CANNOT be forgotten.. but it must not dictate the future.

You are correct my brother, we talk about bending keens, but we are not actually addressing the real problem. What Pakistan expects from India should be clear. Lets not talk about boundry disputes, as far as Kashmir is concerned, let Pakistan have its piece of occupied Kashmir and India have its piece. What else can be addressed on Indian side.
Let the territory be the same as in the bellow picture.

When I came to Australia about two decades ago as a student, initially I was cautious in befriending the Pakistani fellow students among various other international students. This was because we had always considered that Pakistan was our enemy & this again was the same experience shared by my Pakistani friends (as I was informed later). But soon we realised that Pakistanis were no different from us Indians & as years went by we became thick friends.
Our families are so close, that we are always ready to give a helping hand to each other when the need arises. We never bring any of these issues between our friendships, because we believe that there are fanatics & fundamentalists on both sides of the border who are creating a rift. We also do not believe that this makes us less patriotic towards our own country.
Of ‘course many would not agree to what I have said & experienced, but they are welcome to their opinion.
