Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, China, and many other countries have major internal ethnic unrest to deal with. There is no one size fits all solution to ethnic conflict.


The Tamil Tigers were an international terrorist organization, and the world became a safer place after they were soundly defeated.

Now its up to the government of Sri Lanka to make everyone on their island to feel equal in order to prevent the rise of another ethnic conflict. I really hope they are able to bring the nation together.

Your adopted country(s)'s history is strewn with conflicts big and small about which the whole world studies, analyzes and learn. Even Africa to which Egypt belons has its share of insurgencies and conflicts but nooooo..you were interested in a conflict in one island in Indian ocean which was not even a big one by international standards.

Even then you have a peculiar habit of patting SL Govt on the back for the victory while keeping absolutely silent on the human rights violation. So by default either you are a bad student or a bigot.

No not really but this was in the top 5, yes but I know about all the history of it so why not move to other conflicts or should I have stayed on it to not hurt the sympathizes of others ? Human Rights aren't my concern I just study the conflicts I'm neither a bigot nor a bad student I'm aware of the things sri lanka did but it got the job done.
