SQ chowdhury and mujaheed hanged for war crime

That would be a lie as was proved in court. Even if he was 23 are you telling me a 23 year old was in charge of planning and coordinating death squads as he was accused off. Then they accused him of actually killing people. They then retracted evidence when it appeared that claims of him being in multiple places on the same day . The people who were accusing were common criminals and others were not even named. How do you mount defence when you do not know who is accusing you.

The trial did not meet any standard of impartiality as has been stated by international jurist many times over.

People know the truth. Not a single person stood in court to accuse SQC. If you knew of SQC family you would understand they are too rich and powerful and prestigious for one of their own to be going round killing poor villagers. SQC father was the speaker of Pakistans parliament at the time. They simply used hear say evidence which basic journalists proved to be bogus. Again no one stood in court to accuse him of anything.

Point is neither man faced their accuser and was able to offer a defence.

SQC defence included US ambassador and ex Pakistan PM .... Neither was allowed a visa to present themselves before court.

Enough said.... It is a sad day and for me, SQC was not a point of inane Internet discussion, he was someone I knew and respected. BD lost a patriot and BAL scums undoubtedly will see the fruits of their misdeeds.

I am saying he was 23 years old in 1971, as per the link. Prior to this date, I did not even know about him or what he did. How can I make an opinion about him.

Bangladeshi Supreme Court did what it had to do. I will be content to know that a perpetrator of genocide was served justice. Now, as you are saying, he was falsely accused. There were claims of him being in multiple places on same day etc. So, obviously there evidences that led you to believe so. Why don't you share them ?

actually these guys men of the best character for killing traitors who were fighting against their own army....which was the pakistani army at that time... sulate to these jamatis...
who were is against these specific jamatis is a mother fucker

Awami League won the elections in 1971. Yahya Khan and Pakistani army were running an illegal government. Of course things like that do not bother you the least.

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illahi Rajioun.

Indians claim to be righteous and the largest democracy yet openly support a kangaroo tribunal which has no backing from any of the international councils. SHW putting a stop to social media because she knows it is a threat.

And how did that end, in a bloody coup.

Do not know about mujaheed but I knew SQC personally. He was a good man. BD lost a patriot today due to BAL and hasina's bloodlust.

Every person will their maker. I hope they meet theirs in peace. SQC was not allowed to present a single defence witness. BAL when they fall will be eliminated to the last man. Pointless blood being split to perpetuate an illegitimate government.

Those of you who are celebrating a death of two human beings killed for political reasons should look at yourself and recalibrate your morality.
All I have to say, our days will come inshallah. Until then we wait patiently. Nothing will be unnoticed and everything thing will be paid accordingly.

Sona lal hoe gese

Sona has different meanings in Bangla. Sona means gold, and Dik too. Sona also means mother's dear child too.
Lal means red. Red is blood, dead, cross mark.
hoe gese means done/become

It was a joke he made addressing Bangladeshi judiciary. Now it has become more appropriate for him.

@BDforever @bongbang @Bilal9 @Doyalbaba

What are your thoughts and reactions to this?

I dont care. My reaction is why I cant still access FB.

Good job BD even though it's a bit late
Justice has been finally delivered.

Bhai they are killing our noble men to complete their mission that failed after 71. Their mission is clear and they are unstoppable at this time unless higher power over ride them. only Allah knows what is ahead of us.

Killing two old men may bring personal happiness to Hasina. Ga-er Jhaal mitlo. But in actual strategic terms this was a bad move.

Allah does not reward or like those who exceed limits.

And Karma is tough, payback is always a bitch.

1. Most people in BD, including me, had wanted to eliminate the war criminals just after the war when the iron was hot. That's what the French nation had done after WW II. However, Indians had prevented this. They protected the surrendering Pakistanis which included some local collaborators. Indians went to the extent of allowing these people to carry personal weapons. The sudden bonhomie between Pakistanis and North Indians just after an all ravaging war. disgusted us.
2. Fighting for a cause or a nation you believe in is an honorable thing. But indulging in atrocities is an inexcusable crime. Many Bengali officers and soldiers had fought for Pakistan in the West as well as in the East. Politicians or civil servants serving for Pakistan they believed in did not commit any crime. But those that took part in mass killings, rapes, burning, etc deserved summery punishment.
3. We had selected 195 PA officers to face trial for what they did in BD. The trials were to follow Nuremberg and Tokyo models. For this purpose relevant international agencies were contacted and instructions were issued to appointed prosecutors and BD military officers. Their prison cells were prepared. I myself was involved in the process from Army HQ. Late Attorney Genl Aminul Huq was also in the team. A DIG War Crimes Tribunal was set up in an abandoned hose near the lake at the end of RD # 3/4, DRA. Again India frustrated our efforts by refusing to hand over these POWs to us - and by eventually allowing them to go back home.
4. If in terms of the Hamudoor Rahman Commission, Pakistan had proceeded to cooperate with BD in holding joint and separate trials of those that were responsible for the break-up of Pakistan, and those that had personally carried out or ordered killings, etc, then today both Pakistan and BD might have been close friends, and more importantly, there would have been social peace in each nation.
5. SAQA, Mujahid, Ghulam Azam and the whole lot were war criminals, except slain Qader Molla and Maulna Sayedee. These two frightens BAL/SHW for their popularity and organizational skill. Now consider the fols carefully:
a.None of the judges have been fair. All are BAL appointed.
b. The Hindu Chief Justice is openly communal and well-known on this account. Lawyers say he has been appointed to please Delhi and local Hindu vote bank. Under normal circumstances he would be the next Chief Adviser (ie, head of govt) under the caretaker/interim govt holding elections. Thereafter only Allah SWT can protect us from what may have been planned by Delhi.
c. There has been serious criticism in the reference, setting up, appointments of judges and prosecutors and the conduct of the trials. An International Tribunal did not allow deference lawyers from abroad. It was a shameful spectacle.
d. Not a single accused could be convicted with sufficient proof required in the Evidence Act.
e. Had it been a sincere effort under a Sharia Court then of course these guys could have been beheaded legally. But under the constrains of the Common English Law, none could be found guilty.
4. Obviously BAL/SHW is playing politics here and playing music to their supporting lobby in Delhi. Through these sham trials the BD society is being polarized and further isolated from its Umbilical Chord, the Ummah. Otherwise getting them killed in encounters would not have bothered many.
