Should see it more carefully. There is video footage from the dash cams of two different cruisers. The guy was deliberately setting it up including by faking a lot of verbal instructions which he knew would be picked up.
This is the video from the 1st car, the one in which the two cops initially on the scene came. Watch how the video is very unclear but the voice commands are being picked up the body microphone. On this video recording alone, there is absolutely no way that the cop would have been suspended, let alone fired. Looks like the "suspect" was trying to "walk away", "jerk away", "putting hands in the pocket" etc. Essentially
"not following instructions".
Now this is the footage from the 2nd car, a car the officer didn't notice till after he executed the throw. A pure lucky break. It is pretty clear that the Indian gentleman didn't move an inch & that he had his hands held behind his back. There is a point the video where the cop turns & looks directly at the dash cam with a
"Oh $hit" expression and immediately lies that the
"suspect" was walking away when he was doing no such thing. It's pretty clear that the cop did this deliberately & not because of any misunderstanding, he was clearly doing it either to show off his
"skills" or to show the trainee how the video cam can be fooled by lying on the microphone.
