And China didn't say a word to blame BD when you broke up with Pakistan in year 1971?! China never touched BD's core interests. Even if BD wants to have a war with Myanmar for Arakan we also don't have problem with it, I mean if it suits your interets. China didn't dictate Myanmar how to deal with Rohingyas. Myanmar doesn't like rohingyas, and China can't do shit about it.

Bangladesh is hosting close to million Rohingya, that is not helping in Chinese view. Sheikh Hasina said BD doesn't want Rohingyas refugees and they are Myanmar's responsibility not BD's, loud and clear. there is no place for Rohingya to stay except for being returned to Myanmar.

Once again, Lot of Chinese like me dont agree with Myanmar army adopt iron fists on rohingyas civilians. ARSA is responsible for the attack, not Rogingyas people.

1 hundred thousand ton is nothing compared to our annual rice output of 35 million ton(twice of myanmar production).
This year Bangladesh and parts of India experienced worst flooding in the last 40 years.Which damaged several million ton of rice and necessitate import of 1.5 million ton of rice mainly from Thailand,Vietnam and Cambodia. Myanmar is a small supplier and this deal is from before the current crisis.So, No point scoring.

lol 100,000 tons was just initial state. BD asked to import even 1 million tons. but another buyer like sri lanka alone already queued for 500,000 tons from us and PH want to buy as much as in the stock. that's why u guys can get 300,000 tons. so dont be suprised if they will sign for rest 200,000 in near future.

Myanmar and Bangladesh have signed a governmental agreement to export 300,000 tonnes of rice, according to the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF).

“They wanted to buy 1 million tonnes of rice but we advised them to buy 300,000 tonnes of rice. The agreement was signed by officials from our Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry for Food from Bangladesh,” said Vice Chairman Dr Soe Tun of the MRF.
