What's new

Somebody is trying to use the incident of Madina Masjid to incite discord

This is an outright lie. Tariq Road is a main shopping area, and the 'population' consists of residents, traders, and shoppers who fill this mosque up during prayer times. You have been caught trying to use my absence from the country to sell your lies.

Google can tell me there is a mosque, it can't tell me there is a Deobandi mosque there. And you are an untrustworthy person.

Finally, even if there is a mosque, the fact that this mosque gets filled up shows the capacity is needed. It has not been constructed superfluously.

And now comes the time to show your blatant and shameless lies to the whole world. Here is Madina Masjid getting filled. Watch from 0:46

Madina Masjid Tariq Road Karachi | Protest Against SC Order | مدینہ مسجد شہید نہیں کی جاسکتی، نمازی - YouTube

Let Imran Khan remain Prime Minister, he will probably invite the Taliban to live in Islamabad. Not because he thinks highly of them, but because the traitor has been going out of his way to make sure Pakistan's vested interests are hurt.

Everything explained clearly in this post:

You are an idiot self centered, egoistic person with sturban attitude. IF there is an unreliable person b/w you and me than its you because of your illogical sectarian arguments and believes

You have the audacity to call me a liar but have no shame to propagate hate filled sectarian remarks & not giving a single logical argument but restored to personal attacks.

Its a multistory masjid can you post a single pic of that mosque filled completely all floors in routine days .... ???

I am not the only Karachite on this forum you can ask to any other Karachite if he consider Tariq road as Extremely Densely Populated or as Moderately populated,

That is an extremely densely populated area
Keep in mind Karachi a city of 30 million population

so shut up & keep believing whatever you want to believe.

The only requirement for a good person is consistency in morals and ethics and being truthful. This is a universal lore. The moral code is simple yet difficult to apply in life.

I have met atheists who are good people, I have met Muslims who are good people.

Every religion has their own set of pre-conditions you have to satisfy to become a righteous person.

The goodness of a person who does not believe in Allah is limited to this world. He will be repaid for his goodness in this world but there is nothing in afterlife. But there is a very high probability that the disbeliever will turn out to be a bad human being. Someone who isn't sincere to the Creator Who Created him, how can he be sincere with anyone else?

. .
The joke is on you, because I provide logical answers when people raise logical questions.

You want to see four levels of a mosque separated by solid ceilings between levels in one single picture. You are a complete moron. If you want even further proof, you can type Madina Masjid into YouTube and there are interviews by the Masjid's Imam and Khadim saying regular prayers have thousands of worshippers.

Just want to clarify, sectarianism means vitriol, hatred, and violence based on sects. It does not mean leaving one's sect to satisfy the sensitivities of others.
And what else would they say?, Ofcourse they'll say that
Proves nothing

So it boils down to not believing somebody's word of mouth. Thank you for showing everyone that the problem here is hate. I couldn't have done it without you!

...this is an attack of Deobandis. Secondly, although there are many mosques, we need a Deobandi mosque. You might believe in praying anywhere, we don't. We need a Deobandi mosque to pray.

^^ This is a self-defeating argument .. Public property is dedicated to the use of general public and not a particular group / sect. Deobandis make up only 10 - 15 % of Pakistan's population. Pray tell us why should a public property be given to an exclusivist minority sect that believes that other Muslims are inferior to them (if Muslims at all)? ..What about non-Muslim Christian/Hindu/Sikh etc. minorities? they too own that land

How many places of worship exist that do not have the label of a certain sect on them? The whole point being that creating mosques based on sect is our fundamental right. And I agree it is also the fundamental right of Barelvis, Shias, Ahl e Hadith etc. And I completely stand behind the stance that the government needs to provide them spaces per their needs.

Btw, I knowingly asserted my right to religious freedom, which includes the freedom to belong to the Deobandi sect, and the right to pray behind a Deobandi Imam. As expected, it brought out people's wrong concept of 'sectarianism'. This wrong concept has been drilled into your minds through a very well planned process of disinformation. If you can wait for a bit, I need to write a slightly detailed post to unmask this campaign.

I am well aware of that. Under our laws every mosque has to declare its sect following before being granted permission to build the mosque... Our laws are in contradiction with clear Quranic Injunctions. The Holy Quran forbids Muslims to divide themselves (into sects) but our laws require Muslims to identify themselves with sects .... Similarly our constitution recognizes sects and division along sectarian lines.

And Your right to identify with any sect you want is well protected by the constitution and law. But that's besides the point. The matter at hand is land grabbing by religious Mafias. The strongest argument in favor of NOT demolishing this illegally constructed mosque is that the land was meant for public use anyway and building a mosque on it does serve the intended purpose. But when one minority sect claims exclusive ownership of an amenity land meant for general public, many people, who otherwise may not be supportive of the idea of demolition of a mosque( or any other religious structure for that matter ), find it hard to support such a cause.

But we are saying it is the government's responsibility to provide land for those other people as well.

And just to clarify another misconception, the strongest argument in for of NOT demolishing ISN'T that the land was public anyway. The argument is that the government DOES NOT provide ANY spaces for mosques, so almost all mosques (at least in Karachi) are built on similarly appropriated pieces of land. The problem her is the incompetence of the government, and a system where one office can legalize something with a signature, and the next incoming one can retract that legal status if he so wishes.

Disagreed .. Just because the government (supposedly) is unable to provide enough land to every sect for building mosques doesn't mean that grabbing public / govt land becomes halal / justified. This will only lead to anarchy /Fasaad... That's not even an argument

Believe it or not, that is what the Fatwa is since around the 1950s. I heard this just today in one of the YouTube videos I was watching. Sorry I cannot provide a reference. But you can watch the video in this post, which talks about similar things:

A Fatwa is just an opinion that is non-binding anyway (except for the issuer himself). The law of the land has to be followed in any case. There are Fatwas that condone (rather encourage) suicide bombing .. As stated earlier, following such Fatwas will only lead to anarchy and Fasaad
