Baojun RS5
I'm wondering when Baojun could release the RS5 pricing. Look at its safety feature list!! If Baojun could manage its sales price in the range of RMB 80k to 120k ($12k to 18k), I bet it could become a top seller model!

Baojun is always going to have high C/P value, this is why it contributes so much to the sales of SAIC. I think SAIC will achieve 3 million sales figures for its indigenous brands soon.

I think China need to merge the auto maker into several only so that it could compete in international market better; one critical thing is: Chinese auto industry need to established "brand image" in international stage soon so that it could compete internationally for the next generation car.

This is taking place right now. Some smaller manufacturers has been taking over by larger ones. But still this takes time. I think the next to be among the big ten auto company will come from China: potential candidates are Geely (currently has 2+ million annual sales including Volvo), SAIC (currently has around 3 million sales with Wuling/Baojun, Roewe, MG, Maxus/LDV, etc, combined and JV excluded) among others. Brand image will be set up as the company's sales grow: here is a say when buy your car, buy the most sold one.

You will need perhaps strong 8 auto makers, then they build strong "brand image" internationally. It takes time.

Without strong brand image, China wont be able to take big portion in global auto market share even in China's domestic market.

China has a good start in electric car, however without strong brand image at the end European/US/Japanese brand will once again rule the ec market. Car is not only about transportation, but also prestige, consumer who buy car will also consider reputation (brand image).

Geely GE11 EV
Some tech paramaters of the Geely GE11 electric car:
- driving distance 410km
- energy efficiency: 13.5 kwh per 100km
- Battery supplier: CATL (not surprise)
- electric motor supplier: JJE (精进电动科技股份有限公司), a Chinese electric motor manufacturer

Interior of the model.
