What's new

Some snaps of OplotM & VT4 testing in Pakistan

I have seen many turkish tanks explode like this but syrian tanks very rarly explode like that. What could be the reason for that? Did west delivered them junk tanks?
The leopards used in Syria by Turkey were the older models while the Syrian tanks were provided extensive cage and explosive reactive armor. Plus Syria has been fighting this insurgency far longer and have more experience compared to the Turks.
Edit: I saw the video and could only make out two things. One that the missile was far faster than the wire guided ones usually used in the war by insurgents. This suggests that it was laser guided( new goodies from NATO) so better hit and penetration chances. Second thing that the tank was stationary (poor strategy by the Turks). It did not deploy smoke grenades or well you know try to escape and seek cover.

This was a russian atgm as you can listen when it was launched. Tweet.....Boom. That was russian anti tank for sure.

According to this video German tank has longer kill range, more heavy armor which can't be penetrated by russian 125mm shells and can target with much superior accuracy. So it can kill both Chinese and Russian tanks easily. So why don't we go for altay if all of above is true.

From Syria with love

Ironically, the tank was hit by Russian ATGM.

I can image the pain those soldiers suffered when they were hit by ATGM. It's so cruel.
