RAWALPINDI: A Pakistan Army soldier and two civilians embraced martyrdom when Indian Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations in Kailer and Rakhchikri sectors along the Line of Control, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.

Indian troops targeted Pakistani posts with automatic and heavy weapons in Kailer Sector, Inter-services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

However, Pakistan Army responded effectively, resulting in heavy losses to Indian troops, it said, adding “during an exchange of intense fire, 34 years Lance Naik Ali Baz, resident of District Karak, embraced Shahadat.”

In Rakchikri Sector, Indian forces deliberately targeted the civilian population in which a 16-year-old-girl and a 52-year-old woman were martyred while a 10-year-old boy and a 55-year-old woman got injured in Kirni village.

The Indian forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary (WB) have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons.

India has so far committed 913 ceasefire violations this year.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un, RIP to the dead, Pakistan Army is going to have to make hard decisions, and that is to capture thier checkpoints, otherwise they will keeping on firing at will and result in more precious lives lost.

These Sanghi terrorists only understand the language of brutal force, showing your weakness to the enemy will invite further aggression.

We need more Light Howitzers like M777

We have enough guns

Leadership is not good enough as it was few years ago

Who is the idiot leading our troops at LOC?

The dip in the performance is clear and worrying.

This was in 2018. The results are clearly speaking of bad leadership at LOC

We have more Self Propelled ones but less Towed Ones. Towed ones are required for non-uniform terrain like that of LOC and WB

Yaar baikar k dramai hain yeh

Since 90s we are fighting them at LOC and have we have thrashed them

The guns we have are enough to settle the score

The leadership leading troops at LOC is not good enough as it was few years ago

Baqi rahi sahi kasar Imran Bajwa duo nai poori kar di

In my opinion, compared to 90s, we have raised the level as far as types of weapons, type of engagements and number of engagements are concerned.

Approx figures till April 2019 (only 4 months), were almost 30 enemy KIA, around 50 injured and about 45 bunkers were destroyed. Just to give you example dear, not everything is being reported.
