My father just returned from 2 months in Pakistan. He is a strong PTI supporter. And he has come back disheartened. Average guy is extremely upset with this government. That is his word not mine. Corruption continues unabated. WAPDA officers dont do anything without a bribe. Army living large as usual. Only thing that has changed in last year is cost of living.

These things existed prior to IK. Not his fault. But his promises are not bearing fruit, his ministers arent performing and the civil servants/military are up to the same BS they always have done.

I am not a PTI guy but that being said I wish for the success of the nation. Don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully things start to improve in next year or so.

BTW: No one should feel sorry for the traders see for every consumer item the trader/shopkeeper is supposed to recover GST (previously 16%) and then deposit into Govt Kitty through returns it is printed on every consumer item. Traders margin is already in the range of 5-10%, add 16% GST and become 21-26% that 16% is the real problem which was previously going to the purses to these thieves.

I think you should get the required knowledge before commenting on a subject. ---
You say that 16% gst goes in the pocket of shopkeeper.--- Why don't you go to the nearest grocery store ( if you are not overseas Pak) and ask him for the Invoice he gets from distributors.

Now read the Invoice (with eyes open), you will see the distributor recovering gst from the shopkeeper.

So does this clarify now where the gst amount goes???
