Any control on Govt Extravagant Spendings?

While the Govt has its share of stupids and stupidity, earlier today I was in a meeting with CM punjab (club Road) and his people before the meeting started I heard the people cursing the previous ones the way he spend lavishly at CM house its not a house, its a goddamn palace. There were 2 8 ton ACs in the kitchen only, incumbent CM was informed about it today and he was like what, why so much money was spent, how much electricity they use. A bureaucrat was charged to not only check the CM house but all Punjab installation, complete the task in 30 days then remove all unnecessary Air Conditioning. There is no revolution but at-least there is a sense that some care should be exercised while spending public money.

BTW: No one should feel sorry for the traders see for every consumer item the trader/shopkeeper is supposed to recover GST (previously 16%) and then deposit into Govt Kitty through returns it is printed on every consumer item. Traders margin is already in the range of 5-10%, add 16% GST and become 21-26% that 16% is the real problem which was previously going to the purses to these thieves.

You can't even get an electricity meter without bribing govt employees.--- Govt employees (majority) bellys are full with Haram money.

Two wrongs do not make one right. BTW, people never complaint against paying the bribes rather happily pay bribe to the govt officials to avoid paying the full bill. So this is just a lame excuse for the majority
