What's new

So What? If IK didn't offer Eid Prayers. Its personal matter.

This qualifies as one of the most stupid post I have seen in my 16 years of social media life.

In Riyasat e Madinah model,
general public has the right to question the ruler, like Imran Khan himself pointed out the incident where a common man questioned Hazrat Umar Farooq ra'. ----- So for the next five years, People have the right to ask questions, you like it or not makes no difference.

and btw, nobody is asking if you have said Namaz or not, believe me nobody is interested you Pray or not .
But shouldn't this questioning be aimed more at the welfare of the people rather than the personal piety of a particular public figure? Correct me if I'm wrong, but personal piety doesn't necessarily translate to good governance. It's a matter of priorities. There are other things in this "Medina model" that we must consider first. Whilst unemployment is rife, women are being raped, and people are dying of hunger, not to mention the dead body of our economy rolling in the gutter, I think the priority of having a pious PM should be slightly lower. The Medina model entails the establishment of a welfare state. That is something which merits discussion far more than questioning whether or not the PM offered his Eid prayers. Winston Churchill didn't offer his, and yet he was still able to lead the British in the darker hour. Would they have been happy if he'd been pious but inefficient and unable to lead?

I somehow doubt it.

Is it in Quran?

The Madinah model entails the establishment of an Islamic state and welfare is just one aspect in this model, from where you got the idea that it means only establishment of welfare state?

You want Madinah model, you will have to follow and our role model is only Prophet Muhammad saw' ----- I have already pointed out that rulers of Madinah state used to publicly appear for Salah.

It's a very simple question, Is it in Quran? please answer it. Do not go around in circles and try to create confusion, not going to work with me.

Right to question take back to my first post which you quoted, so when you are going to ask him to show his under parts to prove he is Muslim? You have right to question him about state affairs... Making welfare state based on Islamic principles doesn't mean making Mullah land, I would prefer even Hindu or Christian becoming PM who run the state honestly and effectively over A Mullah who have foot long beard, pray 5 times but screw the country.

I would suggest to the government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specially our PM Imran Khan, to arrange for workshops/courses on basic concepts of Islam (as per article 31 of our constitution) and functioning of an Islamic state (Riyast e Madinah) for our literate but illiterate population.

Thanks; Mullah have already written tons of books about Islamic State as per capabilities of their stunted brains. We don't need more of that kind of courses. All of the things which are needed to establish a safe and prosperous country can be better achieved by avoiding mullahs and their courses.

As a die hard IK supporter and a secularist, who gives a crap.
The Muslim world is in the gutter getting raped by the west becuase we focus on this nonsense instead of sciene, technology, etc etc.

500 years of getting raped by the west and we still have not learned our lesson.

Japan got it once from the west in 1853 and they turned their entire society around to become a world super power.

I only suggested what the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan guarantees --- Islam is the state religion of Pakistan and it's the job of the govt to arrange for workshops for basic concepts of Islam and Islamic state, which our previous incompetent govts neglected.

Imran Khan has highlighted the importance of Riyasat e Madinah model and it has given us the hope. --- I will write to PM and other ministers to take steps in this direction.
