So Obama wants talks with Putin on Syria?

.
the 7 country program Gen Wesley Clarke was talking about ?

We will see huge changes in next couple of decades from Morocco to Pakistan. That is more than 7 countries, I think.

evolution/devolution, call it what you will but the world does shake itself and reorganizes bits every couple decades anyway,
unless you're talking about some grand 'murrican plan to further enslave the planet, or islamic countries specifically... PNAC ?

Murrika has primarily nothing to do with it, except on the sidelines. The people themselves will bring about these changes, with only peripheral help wherever suitable.

I take it you're talking about Islamic countries specifically then ?

they're certainly on a self destruct course over in the ME, who knows, in the end the Iranian mullahs might just get their hands on the bomb, and lob it over the strait of hormuz into Saudistan.

I am merely referring to a geographic region.

History is full of such examples, Sir, for just about any nation, empire, country or region one can imagine. The present times are no different.
Still does not make it right. There is severe duplicity on the part of west in that on the one hand they castigate you for breech of the code of conduct and lack of democracy and better still human rights and then on the hand execute the biggest breeches of human rights democratic rights and all other norms of decency in the name of self interests. At least Russia does not put on the one veneer when it attacks nations. However to reiterate it is wrong on any count.

Sir, I understand your viewpoint, except that moral judgements about what is right or wrong simply do not apply to international geopolitics. And it is not just the West that does what you accuse it of, since what Russia did in East Europe and Central Asia is relatively recent, and what the great empires of yesteryear (including Muslim ones) did, is all the same.

. . . .
wut :what:

stop being so cryptic, man, you said "Morocco to Pakistan", what am I to infer from that but "islamic countries"

I am not being cryptic at all. Religion has nothing to do with what I am saying.

you're predicting things about a specific region "morroco to pakistan" (this excludes India), so what does it mean when you say that and if it's neither about what Wesley Clarke said nor is it about PNAC or Islam, what is it ?

oil ? but there's very little to nothing in Pakistan.

Oil or religion has nothing to do with the tremendous changes this large geographical swathe of land with hundreds of millions of agitated and deprived people will see in the next few years from Morocco to Pakistan. Blaming such changes on PNAC or whatever the tinfoil hat says might be popular, but this change will come mainly from the people themselves. The party is only just starting, as they say.

why do you ignore the rest of Africa, perhaps the most deprived people on the planet, and what made you exclude India from your list ?

unless by Morocco you meant the whole of Africa too.
