What does my faith has to do with scientific explanations? Science only explains what is visible to us. It is a study of observable tangible phenomenon. Its scope is limited to materialism.

The first poster was hinting on divine intervention. Regardless of what happens in the natural world, their is a great power which controls everything.

Ever heard about doomsday predictions regarding global warning? Even scientists were worried. Yet favorable environmental changes occurred around the world. I have seen lot of raining in my region in particular which did not happened in previous year. So their is a controlling mechanism in place for natural things and we cannot predict about them.

Not really. For every person of faith who thinks "God CAUSED this storm" there are 1,000 who believe "God ALLOWS this storm to happen." There is a big difference that should be very obvious.

This is exactly how most people of faith believe. God has knowledge of them, allows them to happen, but 99.99% of the time, they are the results of natural forces.
