What was the UAV doing in Karachi ?

local surveillance ??????

.
the TV is also reporting that the UAV was in a no fly zone, my question, it was a navy aircraft, not a commercial one, so does the no fly zone still apply to it ?. And it was a small drone, probably on a training mission and enroute to base while it got the bird strike.

Yep, both the oil refineries are in the vicinity of the PNS Mehran -- one is just accross the Malir river while the other is about four kilometers away as the crow flies.

No fly zone, Pakistan Navy flying a UAV. Must be a reason.
It suddenly crashed. Got a hit maybe.
Is the Navy expecting some terrorists hiding out there or what?

IT WAS A BIRD HIT

SUCH THINGS HAVE HAPPENED MANY TIMES IN AVIATION HISTORY.
