Sky Sports Poll: Should Pakistan be Banned from International Cricket?

Modi was suspended because he was involved with financial irregularities not because of match fixing. If you don't know that just shut the **** up. Its really sad that you are supporting those $hit faces who ruined the name of entire nation. Also, when we found out Modi was involved, what happened to him, he was thrown to gutter. But what are you doing? creating conspiracies, accusing entire world of plotting against you. arey thoda tho sharam karo.

Thats a Mod you are talking to. I would edit my post if I were you.

PL fiasco: Modi suspended as IPL chief, Amin takes over

S. Chowdhary - 26 Apr 2010
IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi was suspended by the BCCI chief Shashank Manohar, late night on Sunday. He will be replaced by Chirayu Amin as the interim chairman of the IPL Governing Council.

The decision was announced immediately after the final of the IPL got over at the Dr. DY Patil in Navi Mumbai, around 10 hours before the IPL Governing Council was to meet at the BCCI office to discuss the future of the committee.

There were serious allegations against Lalit Modi of match-fixing, money laundering, nepotism in awarding bids to team owners amongst some others.

Talking to the press after the Governing Council meeting ended today, the BCCI chief Manohar said that the interim chairman would look into the matters, for the next one month before the Council will convene again. It was also announced that some of the documents that the IT officials had required off BCCI were missing and Ratnakar Shetty, the CAO of BCCI had been assigned the task of investigating the same.

Manohar also said that the three former cricketers, Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar and MAK Pataudi will look into the matter of the number of foreign cricketers can be allowed in every team for the next edition of the tournament. The three will talk to the franchise owners.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings became the IPL champions when they easily beat Mumbai Indians in the final of the tournament, by 22 runs. The match rarely reached the levels of excitement that were expected out of a final.

Was it proved? Enquiry is still on yet he is sidelined and was prosecuted with criminal charges. What are you guys doing? Supporting the rogues and accusing entire world of plotting against you? Man, you guys are epic.

I know he is a Mod but I am going to stick to what I said.

But what does having a crap attitude against Pakistani players have to do with racism?

England have a Pakistani coach and several players of Pakistani and Indian origin have played for England, what qualifies you to accuse them of being racists?

What qualifies me to accuse them is their differential treatment and also the extensive documented history of racist remarks in the context of cricket in both Australia and England. If Prince Harry is found to be a closet racist, what can be expected of an english cricketer.

If you don't know that just shut the **** up.

Make your point with civility. You are not the sole repository of the knowledge of swear words. It actually reflects on both your vocabulary & your intellect when you use such language. If this is your reaction to matters of cricket, I would hate to see how you react on more provocative subjects.

Thats a Mod you are talking to. I would edit my post if I were you.

Fear should not be the only reason for decency.Civility should not only be reserved for some.

Thank you for your support, but I am capable of giving better than I get. And on this issue I am absolutely appalled to find that many of my Indian friends have forgotten everything that has happened in the past with allegations against the Pakistan team on numerous occasions being proved lies, with what has happened re racist attacks directed at Harbhajan and other Indian players with them being called "monkeys", with numerous allegations against pretty much every Sri Lankan bowler Australia or England had a tough time playing...

And that's before we even get to the super loud noises in all the western papers about the CWG being a disaster and about out of control corruption in delhi etc.

As Jesus told the crowd, let he who has not sinned cast the first stone. With the controversy and proof of corruption against Modi, with IPL match fixing charges (as an Indian poster says on this thread, "Where there's smoke there's fire" - so there must have been a raging forest fire viz the IPL then) and all the other nonsense, is this really an issue where my Indian friends can cast aspersions on Pakistan and claim the high ground? Why must everything degenerate into an outright attack?

I am sorry, now you are taking the moral high ground? I apologize for my idiotic rants but I didn't start the attack. It was you who posted all those links of Indian bookies and IPL. At least please stop acting as a victim here.

so you think aussies are not racists?

Nopes, They cheated in Sydney test match, but nothing to do with racism. Bret Lee has been to India more than 35 times. Hayden, Gilly, S Waugh all love India.

Sachin got standing ovation in Australia, New Zealand. He was booed, that too in Mumbai, his home town.

I posted the links in response to what? For the love of God, start reading!!! Go back to page #1. Look up post #2. Check the country flag. Check the invective. Come back and report your findings. That is what I responded to.

So yes, we didn't start the fire...
