This is good news for India only if the Indian Gov;t is able to use these resources in a meaningful manner. The reason why many leaveis due to many deficienices in the system. At least provide a level fplaying field where ideas can be incubated and incorporated, streamline the courts and justice and stamp out corruption....otherwise Anna will be least of India;s problems...

While a lot of Indians get good high level jobs, many Indians work in low level jobs. Indians are also notorious for scams (consultancy companies, tri valley university, multi level marketing schemes) in all fields of life.

It is racism if we consider cases like that which your brother just Highlighted above ....U.K putting a cap on immigrants from the subcontinent whilst giving a free pass to all EU nationals .

Indians , Pakistanis , Bangladeshis and even Gurkhas have greater right to settle in the U.K over some unskilled Polish/Czech migrants given their service to the U.K -- so partly agree but it's too early to paint every immigration-cap policy with the same brush . Maybe the U.S policy will be reversed .

Most such cases are dictated by business and profit not by emotions for very long.

For a Chinese the wait is something like 25-30 years because of same reasons ...They have compared a few countries in the report . China is one of them. However Pakistan is not mentioned.

I agree but one thing I am glad is that we are not known for terror attacks or radical preaching or hating USA while living in USA. Our people respect the laws of the country they stay in and that is why Indians are much more preferred alongside Chinese and east Asians, who contribute significantly to their economies rather than come on asylum status and create ruckus.
