Six FC soldiers martyred in Bolan bomb blast

Looks like Pakistan should adopt strategy used by Indian CRPF in naxal areas.

We used to lose dozens in IED attacks on vehicles every year in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha.
But we soon stopped using vehicles for troop movements and switched to motorcycles as a result annual casualties from IEDs came down to single digits.

Last year Maharashtra police paid the price in one incident in May 2019 when they violated this rule.

Motorcycles are far more effective than APCs/MRAPs if you want to reduce casualties.
If insurgents have enough explosives they can easily counter MRAPs by building bigger and bigger IEDs (most MRAPs can't withstand more than 20 kg high explosives)

but Motorcycles are also puts troops in danger from Ambush and without any cover... I think only good strategy is some Jammer/sensor Mounted heavy MRAP in forward and less armoured vehicles in back... clear the ied and move forward.

unmanned robot vehicles moving forward in front of the military convoy is better option

u mean sensory robots right yaa I think thats also a solution but the range is pretty low for now of these robotic vehicles...

tesla and many companies in u.s have developed long range electric vehicles covering distance equal to petrol or diesel cars in single charge which can be driver less and have autopilot mode such type of vehicles with modifications are better option for future

FC convoys have been attacked for a long time, in which thousands of sons have been martyred.
The assailants have always attacked the FC convoy passing between two mountains from two sides, first firing heavily which stops the convoy and then raining rockets and bullets on the convoy. ۔ After a maximum of half an hour of operation, these Indian-trained dogs disappear into the mountains.
Now suppose, if FC convoys were made up of home-made bulletproof vehicles instead of ordinary mobiles, how many brave sons we could save.
The same vehicles that we have given to the police, can't these vehicles left in the warehouses be given to FC Balochistan? give them FC Balochistan bulletproof vehicles and modern weapons to fight with Indian dogs.

i dont think electrical vehicles is the answer too much tonnage are required for practical military applications and specially in Indian subcontinent a total failure...

Don't know how much blood spill of fine men our Military leadership want. We do have surplus MRAPs stored not even more than two dozens are deployed. Why don't they the give them(soldiers) a fighting chance? Why don't they give them protection?
Top Brass need to move out from their comfort zone.

see a hybrid solution might work but going totally electrical is not possible in military applications... although electrical ones can offer much more torque but the question is whos gonna recharge in middle of field ....

Not being a armchair general but, we need to train FC to react to ambush properly. You see there is MG-3 mounted on vehicle. Only a short burst was fired the whole time. Why not lay some hell down range and give them taste of their own medicine.
