What country is perfect? I have already looked at some properties in Turkey, and I am moving for good soon. My brother moved to Cyprus not long ago. he doesn't have any regrets.

Yes it is, there is a difference in mentality.

It's higher stress, in the UK you don't expect people to try to trick you all the time, here you need to be "awake" all the time.

Anyway live here and you'll see what I mean, Turkey is not what it was in the past, there are many a**holes and their God is money. The bigger the city you live in the more a**holes.


In the UK you don't expect to get tricked by people, here you should expect it and be ready. It sucks to not be able to trust people, this in itself causes stress.

Also be careful buying property, even taxi drivers have a house to sell if you tell them. Make sure all paperwork is correct, go with lawyer when signing things just to be safe.

Don't trust anyones word no matter how trustworthy they are, have everything on paper and no cash, just bank transfers so you have proof.

Yupp, I'm back, tried to sleep couldn't.

2 days later and I still have a bad hangover.

Did some research online and found out that hangovers can last 1-2 weeks after the age of 29.

I think I'll stop drinking alcohol, maybe find something else more healthy for the stress.

Problem is when I start to get drunk I drink like an idiot drink after drink, I had tequila, whiskey, beer... I mix it all and to make it worse a lot of vodka redbull which messes up your balance afterwards.

I'm trying to get rid of the stress/thoughts, going through a difficult time emotionally after a breakup.

But alcohol isn't helping at all just for 2-3 hours but makes it hell the next 5 or so days.

I also have a lot of responsibility many people depend on me work wise, I have some very big goals (not normal).
Then to make matters worse I'm alone, no family support.

So you could say it's break-up depression, combined with extreme work related stress because the pressure is really high. I'm actually totally burnt out work wise, but don't have the luxury to take a good long break, got things I need to finish first.

Just a really bad period in my life I guess, need to get a grip somehow.

Even writing this is pretty pathetic of me because I'm much stronger than many people I know, but I guess everyone has their breaking point.

Yeah that's a tough position to be in but you made it this far and you have the strength to keep going. Sorry to hear about your relationship. But honestly some people just aren't worth your time. Everything happens for the best.
